Got a 2019 Pelham blue almost a year ago. It has completely changed how I play through solo work and how aggressive I feel. To the point where I search youtube on a weekly basis to try and find other people who love this model and to hear the sounds they can get from it. Been watching your vids for a bit. Cheers and thank you.
I bought this exact Guitar (or very similar config) from PMT Newcastle back in 2016 and played for a few years and can confirm its awesome! Only sold a year or so ago to fund a long trip in the USA. Also can confirm Dagan and the rest of the crew at PMT are absolutely superb with their customer service!
Dagan I have watched many of your videos and have actually purchased a guitar, pedals etc etc because your videos so I want to thank you.. You always sound amazing, love your style your a superb musician. I also like the Johnny Deep thing you have going when he played the pirate and the way he was so animated with the way he moved lol. Thats a compliment, hes one cool dude and so arnt you. Hey thanks again you kick Azz.... :)
Hey Dagan, as usual you sound amazing and kick Azz when you play... I have always been a Fender Strat man and have a few All American Strat's but I have always wanted 1 Gibson and that is the Gibson SG like the one you are playing here. I just wanted to thank you for your awesome review on this Gibson SG that I have been thinking about for a while now and thanks to you I will be buying it this week. Once again thank you so very much for your superb review and once again I must tell you that I think you are an amazingly great musician with loads of pure talent....
Got that same exact one about 2 weeks ago. It's got Pete Townshend written all over it. Rightfully so. This is indeed a screaming loud ruckus maker. The way I like em. I think I'll leave the smashing to Pete, though. I plan on keeping this thing around a while.
i only have humbucking pickup guitars and i always associated p90s as a thinner tone which for metal and hard rock which i love isnt the greatest thing.. but then i found out iommi excusivly used p90s with sabbath and that blew me away cause thats one of the heaviest fat sounds a guitar can make!!! im split between a SG p90 classic or a 3 pickup white sg custom :/
@Street-shitter-2 Yeah but sadly they all at it mate, did you see the Epstein list? A lot of famous singers and guitar players went there, very evil people, good music but bad humans, MJ being case in point too
Dagan is AC/DC fan, and maybe a fan of many other bands, but I suppose if you were to listen to AC/DC a lot, then certain feels like that riff can be found through Malcolm Young playing
Gibsons look and sound fantastic, the only reason I've stuck with Fender is that they tend to still be in tune at the end of the song. Am I doing something wrong with the Gibbos?
A good luthier can take care of the problem. Just needs nut cut properly. Funny I see artist play Gibsons through their whole set with no problems all the time. I have three with no problems..
@@chrisdunn2176 I bet a luthier could, but I'm a bit stingy I suppose lol. If I've paid almost a thousand pounds for a guitar I want it to "just work" 😄 I still hope I find a Gibson for me one day.
@@OOLONandCOLLUPHID I mean fair point but if you’re wanting a gibson then just get one and get the work done. It may be BS but I wouldn’t wait around for gibson to do it.
Still waiting to add an SG tp the collection. So many SG models in the Gibson (and Epiphone) line up, why do they all have such slim necks. Give us a model with a 50's neck carve with P90s and one with Humbuckers .
Dagan, new to the channel (6 mos) and love your walkthroughs, you’re top notch! But why; dear god, why are you using the black star amp, how about a Marshall Origin 20 or 50? Or something with balls, mate? Anyhow really do love your demos, you’re amazing, but please consider using better amps when demoing high end gear, cheers 🍻
I have Pink Nail varnish but yeah us girls can rock it LOL , Guys who wear nail varnish are cool too , it takes guts for a man to embrace the feminine side
I have this guitar in black and love everything about it except one thing - its awful to play standing up due to a misplaced strap button. Neck dive, leans forward, etc. This design flaw ruins the experience for sure and makes it unplayable for gigs. :( Ive added weights to the electronics cavity to help with the dive but nothing will counteract the awful forward leaning tendencies. I have no idea how Pete Townshend, Angus, etc. made theirs work! After fighting this thing on stage I switch to my USA Schecters or Fenders and its ridiculous how easy those guitars are to play by comparison. YMMV! Still I love the guitar for recording and home playing.
Just learn to play in tune then intonation becomes a non issue. TBH the intonation isn’t much of a problem with these, the lightning ⚡️ bolt bridge does a pretty good job.

Cheers have a les Paul special and now a believer of p90s. Ordered an ebony sg special. Hype!
P90’s are a magical pickup. Gibson was doing serious magic in the 60’s

I ordered mine today and I'm so anxious to play it that I'm just watching a ton of SG special vids lol

Great Dagan!
Just picked up one of these. Found one with a flames too. Love that thing.
Awesome shredding!
Also loving the Van Halen at 7 mins part of his clean solo from live without a net
what a fuckin RAD opening jammy Dagan....so "Gibson-like"....nice tone and sound......SWEET!!!!
Superb guitar---got two. Plus junior CS!
Great guitar and playing
Got one on Christmas today
Just ordered a 2024 in Ebony.... I'm dying to see how it gets on with my Orange Dark Terror 15, run through a Celestion Greenback loaded 1x12 I've got
This one sounds really great..
nice intro jam!
i love the p90 sound of the SG special......
I come here just to listen to your jams
Thank you.
Now I want p90's
Just got the Epiphone version of that guitar, except mine is sparkling burgundy.👌🏼
@Mullet head Probably better QC than the Gibson version anyway.
@voiceofexperience My Gibsons are flawless. Epi have shocking fretwork. Broke folk should stop getting their info from the Internet
@mullethead3031😅 Broke
The neck pickup is wonderous.( I think you called it). It's my only guitar that I like the neck PU better than the bridge, and it's by a mile.
👍👍🎸 Dagan rocks!

I love my Les Paul Juniors, but a Gibson SG with P-90s just RRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPSSSSSS! Ask Pete!
Pete Townshend had the right idea when he used one for years in the WHO , such a great soudning guitar more big name players need to use it.
@Street-shitter-2 Yeah but sadly they all at it mate, did you see the Epstein list? A lot of famous singers and guitar players went there, very evil people, good music but bad humans, MJ being case in point too
What's the riff from 4:13? Does anybody know?

just ordered one . . Love an SG , but damn they rock much more with p90's . . no bout a doubt it !! peace
Black would have looked hot!
I love it absolutely bad ass

@@adama4791 Very true, I guess one day I'll give in. Not right now though, I live in The UK and I'm saving up for a tin of beans 😂
Dagan, what picks do you use?

I just bought a Gibson SG Bass...does that count 🤣🤣
@Mullet head 😆 🤣

I use Marshall but black star is rightfully there
A litle fortune haha
Black nail varnish Dagan? I dont know I can do that!
I have Pink Nail varnish but yeah us girls can rock it LOL , Guys who wear nail varnish are cool too , it takes guts for a man to embrace the feminine side
Varnish ey??? Always called it polish....nail polish.

try a wide leather strap- or an ankle/wrist weight attached to the strap at the lower bout
it’s the underworld calling it back
Get a wider strap leather like 2-3 inch should help
As someone who obsesses with action and intonation, that bridge just bothers me.
Just learn to play in tune then intonation becomes a non issue. TBH the intonation isn’t much of a problem with these, the lightning ⚡️ bolt bridge does a pretty good job.
Close enough is good enough for rock and roll. Just don't go up to a heavy gauge set of strings or super light.
No to both of you.
Get an adjustable wraparound bridge. Problem solved.
You spelt 'review' wrong.
I'd rather tell you instead of some other pedant !
Killer guitar and sound. Get that paint off your fingernails.
