What shoes are you wearing? I need something that's distinctive, I'm looking for the perfect grip shoes but my feet aren't really suitable for Snickers or any shoes that are actually perfectly comfortable, one problem is that I'm tall, and my feet are too big, should that be a consideration?
Gotta say, these tutorials are the best I've found. Your work-your-way-up approach is really helping set a good pace. The whys and hows of each move are essential, so I'm glad you're incorporating those too. Thanks!
Ronnie, awesome tutorial!!! And by the way, my son doesn't spend his days playing games all day, he is a hard worker and works hard to support his family. Love you son!!!-mom
ALOT of Assassin's Creed fans! I fell in love with (and first learned about) parkour when i saw you with in "Assassin's Creed meets parkour" then checkedyour channel and saw THIS and thought "not only did he show off an AMAZING performance fueling my love for AC and making tutorials for parkour, but he's doing it ina an AC costume" it fuels my love for AC simple as that :3
I'm so thankful for your videos! :D I had began to doubt myself when it came to parkour, but because of your video tutorials I've been able to learn a lot.
Mitchel Snodgrass i mean locally. in big cities yeah. but i live in a small village which is basically just fields. i was exaggerating quite a lot when i said the whole country :)
Sour Oddity i don't even think that counts as exaggerating; it's two completely different thing. and no, not even just in big cities... is your village seriously so small it doesn't have any schools or office buildings? nothing you can drive/ride a bike to? seems hard to believe.
They should hire you for the Assassin's Creed live action movie. And I am convinced you are the best Parkour coach on the platform. I am now gonna try these for myself. Keep up the good work 👍🏻
I am so happy because of these tutorials! They gave me the happiness to start training with serious parkour (like running up walls etc...) and i wanna train my body much more! I am training on the tic tac and the wall run at my school:D Thank you, Ronnie Shalvis:D
I mastered the horizontal wall run. It took me a month to do (with practice just about every day) because it's my first parkour move mastered. I still can't manage to get the vertical wall run down.
I know you focus mainly on parkour but i love your assassins creed videos so much and was wondering if you could show us some sweet assassin style fighting moves. Keep up the good work
I think Ronnie's difficulty bar more accurately reflects how difficult he finds the technique rather than how difficult they are to learn. I have found this technique and the handstand hard to do but I found a backflip easier to learn but more tiring to perform.
I've tried this many times, yet I seem to be incapable of getting my right foot on the wall. (I start from the left side of the wall, with my left foot) Everytime I try to land my other foot, I simply touch the wall, I loose my momentum and slide off the wall. I can't seem to keep my momentum upward, rather than off the wall, which also happens most of the time. Any tips on how to fix this?
shoe grip doesn't matter that much. I can do it with socks (but it really hurts) because it's all about momentum. Shoe grip does help, but it isn't necessary.
It means the transfer of energy from speed, so in this case you're using your running speed to 'bounce' off the wall. Another example of momentum is how when you drop a ball it will bounce a certain height; throw it harder or drop it from higher, more momentum is generated by the fall, so it will bounce higher.
My 1st time doing a wall run was when I was in 4th grade, I was just messing around trying to look "cool" But as I aged, I didn't do it as much. The other day though, I was in PE and I had my friend stand against the wall, I was able to apply 4 steps to get over him :D Mission accomplished. I'm watching this though to help better my technique, thanks :D!
Don't worry about that. Most things start off looking bad in the beginning. When you become comfortable people will see that you have that move down, and it won't matter what it looks like, because no one will be able to do it like you.
I don't no why, but it's a kind of combination: The costume and the stunts make it more interesting and motivating than those things alone. Although I've always wanted to do parkour as a hobby, I never did it, maybe because i wasn't encouraged enough (or had fear :D haha) until I saw some off your tutorials and the 'Assassins Creed In Real Life' Video. Thanks man.
I love the comment below. And don't stop making these tutorials. You got me started on parkour and I'm progressing and learning of of your videos. Can u recommend any ways to train for this
Be sure to push as hard as possible on the wall with your foot, this will create more static friction, which will in turn enable you to push the wall down harder, which will push you up higher
Ronnie, do you think you could ever do a tutorial on the crane? It is a very useful but overlooked move, and I would love to know more about it. Thanks!
When I'm at school I do this all the time and it is awesome cause there is a place where you can wall run and jump at the last second and get up the outside stairs plus there
I'll agree with Traven, it has a double visual effect, that already cool appearance of Parkour and then your adding in Assassin's Creed. Whats not to like?
Shoes that are comfortable that have decent grip.
What shoes are you wearing?
I need something that's distinctive, I'm looking for the perfect grip shoes but my feet aren't really suitable for Snickers or any shoes that are actually perfectly comfortable, one problem is that I'm tall, and my feet are too big, should that be a consideration?
Thanks! Its comments like these that keep me going because I know people are getting something out of my videos. I appreciate it :)

Cool, I have never thought of it that way. I wonder how many people it has that effect on?
I'm so thankful for your videos! :D I had began to doubt myself when it came to parkour, but because of your video tutorials I've been able to learn a lot.
I wanna learn this. I would learn this. If there was anywhere good to do it in the whole damn country :(
+Sour Oddity seriously? all you need to tic tac is a wall, and trust me they're all over the country
Mitchel Snodgrass i mean locally. in big cities yeah. but i live in a small village which is basically just fields. i was exaggerating quite a lot when i said the whole country :)

I KNOW! Do it at your school!
Sour Oddity
i'm sincerely curious

You might be doing it too close, try jumping a bit further back but not too far
I have the same problem!
improve your speed and leg strength
The costume makes it look even more awesome.
I've got to get me one of those...
I need to find the right shoes with good grip like Ronnies
shoe grip doesn't matter that much. I can do it with socks (but it really hurts) because it's all about momentum. Shoe grip does help, but it isn't necessary.

I did this at school to avoid a bully, and I got a reward for escaping school lol
I punched a bully in the face and used this to get over a fence but I cut my leg. ;-;
For me it was a straight kick to to middle. Instant defeat
Hi Ronnie Im 12 yrs old and i love and do parkour. your tips help me alot and im your biggest fan
Im getting a assassin suit then shen i learn this i will be a badass assassin bruh 😎
My 1st time doing a wall run was when I was in 4th grade, I was just messing around trying to look "cool" But as I aged, I didn't do it as much. Dear Ronnie. You are amazingly awesome. I admire you.
I use parkour when I get into a fight
hello
Ikr
Uhm.... No it means he doesn't like to fight like a neanderthal.
Don't worry about that. Most things start off looking bad in the beginning. When you become comfortable people will see that you have that move down, and it won't matter what it looks like, because no one will be able to do it like you.
I did it in school and fell on my friend

I just got into Parkour and your videos are really insightful.
I don't no why, but it's a kind of combination:
The costume and the stunts make it more interesting
and motivating than those things alone.
Although I've always wanted to do parkour as a hobby,
I never did it, maybe because i wasn't encouraged enough
(or had fear :D haha) until

this person inspired me to start freerunning but where I live its hard to find places to freerun
I'm guessing its because of the material wearing out that is covering the shoe to make it look like boots. My other shoes don't look like that.
I love the comment below. And don't stop making these tutorials. You got me started on parkour and I'm progressing and learning of of your videos. Can u recommend any ways to train for this
Your videos are awesome! Me, and my friend have been trying to find something to help us. This really did. Keep doing these videos!
Ronnie. Keep up the good work. You are a god d*** gem, between your bada** moves and gamer spirit. Stay golden man
your tips are very useful for training and becoming better.
Be sure to push as hard as possible on the wall with your foot, this will create more static friction, which will in turn enable you to push the wall down harder, which will push you up higher
