SCOTT!! What did you with your beard?! > > More importantly, this is a gathering of my two favorite voices/minds in Lutheranism, thank you all so much for making more media with Nestingen and Rosenbladt while they are still able and willing. This is amazing and I pray much more is on the way!
Proclamation of the scriptures in their historical context with the aim of delivering law and gospel to real people in the real world, has been replaced with moral instruction for that congregation's "mission", academic lecture on theological loci, a motivational pop psychology therapy session , or the pastor's experience that week as the framework for building a sermon topic. The gospel is often thrown in to these four models but loses its place by being overwhelmed by them/tacked on to them as secondary.
The laughter of the Redeemed! Beautiful. Thank you! Please God let this go viral!!!
