I've visited this place so many times. First time in 1968 with my grandmother, then in 1986, then 1997, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014. Every time it gets richer and more spectacular.
1968?? Probably the only building there were those four to five extremely old buildings. The shinsegae department store, the standard chartered bank building, the korean bank building and the other ones.
@@dlrpanjsi783 The department store was there. We went into it. It should be considered a landmark. The bank, yes. The street layout are things I recall pretty well. In 68 Seoul was a bustling city already.
I just came back from Gangnam. Korea is such a wonderful place. And Seoul and it's surrounding areas are amazing. So much to do, so much to see.....yet so little time. I need to go back.

솔직히 노점상 없앤다는건 사실상 무리고 거리정비가 힘들면 최소 저 노점상들이라도 통일성 갖춰서 모양이라도 똑같게 맞추면 미관이라도 좋을텐데 최소 이정도 정책은 할수 있지않나?? 비교할라고 하는건 아니지만 일본은 최소 길거리 음식점들이라도 무언가 특색있고 통일성이 있는데 우리나라 노점상은 너무 제각각이야....
근데 영상이 어두워졌다가 다시 밝아졌다 그러는데 그건 왜 그런건가요? 그리고 명동 건물들 간판은 왜 전부 영어가 많죠? 기본 한국어 간판을 베이스로 하고 그 다음이 영어 간판이 와야 맞다고 보는데 모국어가 뒤로 밀려난 느낌이라 뭔가 많이 불편하네요. 오히려 외국사람들은 우리나라 간판이 한국어일때가 더 신기하고 매력적이라고 말한걸 본적이 있는데 전부 영어라면 그 사람들 입장에서는 외국왔다는 기분이 안든다고 하더라구요. 그리고 쓰레기 버리는 존(zone)에다가 이뿌게 휀스같은걸 만들면 보기에도 좋은데 저렇게 길거리에 쓰레기를 버리면 미관상 보기에도 안좋고 여름에는 악취도 풍기고 외국인들이 한국에 오면 많이 들리는 곳이 명동인데 도시 미관이나 환경 등에 서울시는 신경을 많이 써줬으면 좋겠습니다. 운전하시는 운전자들은 보행자들을 위해 정지선 및 신호준수 철저히 지켜주시구요.
저 음식 장사때문에 바닥이 너무 더럽고 쓰레기가 여기저기 넘쳐나고 저들이 세금은 제대로 내는지??? 꼭 저렇게 수준낮은 시장판을 만들어 놓아야만 했나? 지금이라도 싹 정비해버려서 문화강국 한국 위상에 맞는 디자인과 시설들로 교체하고 지불방식을 카드만 받게하여 세금과 관리비를 비율로 내게하여 청소와 시설관리에 드는 비용을 충당해야한다!
