The herring and tree is in reference to Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail where King Arthur is tasked with chopping down the mightiest tree in the forest with a herring.

I believe crying in the field is a reference to gone with the wind. There are lots of references like dance in the graveyard is spooky scary skeletons and use a herring on a tree is a monty python refernce (the knights who say ni)

Me and my friends are part of that 20-30%. Have been casually playing the GIM since it’s release. About 1900 total, doing CG and Zulrah stuff now. Play on some weekends and mobile when I can during the week and it’s just such a great time! Shout out to my fellow part time players!

Only exploiting if you intentionally abuse it repeatedly, the farmers at least (and Boaty) stopped opening caskets when they realized it was bugged. Also they hotfixed the issue as well.
