I contacted PRA and told them of my DUI Felony 10 yrs ago and my rehabilitation, volunteer at church , AA and dance lessons . No tickets and sober 10 yrs . PRA sent me a email no background check for 70 + yr. old people. Hope that helps , God Bless

Some of your recent videos are Super informative as Businessman like myself retiring early in the Philippines are not yet or wanting to just sit on a beach so we still want to do something. I will be transitioning to living in Philippines and visiting the USA for business verses last year spent 2/3 time in USA and spending time in Philippines deciding where and what i like so i could settle in easier. So in 2 weeks I will be living in Dumaguete and visiting lots of friends in Cebu area.

PH is heaven on earth for rich Filipinos only & not for foreigners to invest & settle foreigners in PH can't own properties full business ownership have very limited rights & many are deported foreigners can be naturalized PH citizens if born & raised in PH like the prominent Spanish Ayala family which is not the case of newcomers

One problem here is that if anyone sees a business that's doing any good all the sudden within a 6 months still be 4 others to try doing the same thing and then they'll be 4 people competing for the same business. I'm in a small town in the province and we have four or five bakeries here it's ridiculous and two of them are the same chain so you buy a franchise and they put a competitor two blocks away! If you franchise you won't be guaranteed anything

Actually I almost went to jail for one of them. It was a long block in Encino and I had a heavy sample bag so I hurried across the street and got almost to the other side of the street and seen the police car parked down the street. I glanced and seen the cop opening his door. I hurried into the building and was going to take the elevator but I decided to wait. Sure enough the cops came into the lobby a few seconds later. The one cop said you were lucky you stopped or you would be spending the night in jail. It was a $10 ticket.

@@mikesphilippineretirement unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to defend myself in court. It’s more of a railroading with no one asking for my side of the story. Because of this false allegation I don’t have anything to do with American women. I had texts and pictures to prove my innocence however my lawyer said the jury will 99% side with the accuser especially if she cry’s. Thank you for your response.

Can't the U.S. Embassy here in Manila Apostille any of our documents?
If the documents are from the US, no. Only the secretary of the state the documents are from (say a local court filing) can authenticate the notary who notarized the documents. No one in Manilla can authenticate the notary from the states. Its just not set up that way to be done. If its a federal document from the US, maybe, but most birth certificates, divorce judgements etc are from the states not the federal government.

@jsully4064 so then A DD214 is federal document of military service so the U.S. Embassy here could Apostille it in Manila since I sent the document twice to Washington DC and they kept the money but kept giving excuses that it needed this seal of authocation.. or this one . Even thou I got the document from National Archives Center in Missouri where our military records are kept
@@JenGioPhilippineJourney That does sound like a federal document and am not sure how you would get that apostilled. If you are in the Philippines would check with someone like JRC (think thats right) and find out from them how to do that. They are very helpful with visas and may know the answer as they deal with the SRRV all the time.
@@JenGioPhilippineJourney Actually the seal of authentication could be a notary seal. The DD214 might need to be notarized somehow and the apostille certificate is to verify the validity of the notary. Am not sure how to notarize the DD214 so it may be better to ask someone with firsthand knowledge of how that document can be apostilled.

You know some Americans come here to change their life, and that include people who are felons especially when their records follow them for life, in america felons are discriminated against and some don't have options anymore, no mater when the person was convicted. EVERYONE should have a second chance. No matter your status of your life.

Rather flippant humor about police reports messing up SRRV. Very funny hahahaha. Actually, a speeding ticket 15 miles over the limit is considered a felony in some states so, will the clerk at BI approving think she is empowered enough to overlook a felony conviction, even for speeding? You make fun of people worrying about speeding tickets, but your experience base is not large enough for you to realize that even speeding will at least delay your application if it is a felony, even if the report states a misdemeanor pled down from a felony. And maybe you are right if you say BI will eventually rule in his favor but after how many months appealing and waiting for their decision?

There is a big reason why it's so easy to get a felon charge in the U.S. .. The perfect citizen , can't vote possess a firearm and can't leave the U.S.

By the way, you say that srrv requires an interpol police clearance; i never heard of THAT before so I looked it up and found that this is highly irregular. No such thing! SORRY.

Individuals generally cannot request an INTERPOL background check directly due to several reasons. First, INTERPOL primarily supports member countries’ law enforcement agencies, not individuals.
