Looks hum good. I love meatloaf.. This is exact same recipe as my Mom's was, with the exception she added 1/2 cup of chopped bell pepper, any color bell pepper. You can't go wrong with this recipe. We always had leftover and ate meat loaf sandwiches.
I make my meatloaf almost the same but I add bell peppers and a little brown sugar. This is my first day of subscribing and commenting and I love you channel. Mr. Hoyt I would love to come cook with you someday. God Bless you both.
My mom made hers similar to thos. She puts bbq sauce as well as ketchup in hers though. I did learn something new about the water. Very interesting. I always have an issue with the grease Meatloaf is such a versatile dish. Ive made it with ranch. I also love italian meatloaf. I actually use hamburger and italian sausage because i like the consistancy better. Ps. This is adoreable

My mom came out of the ddepression era and she said a lot of times they didn't have crackers, she would use rolled oats in her meatloaf. That's the way I grew up eating it I will have to try hoyts recipe though.

I use tomato paste a good layer of it on top 😋😋😋😋
