- For Spring Break 2022 we decided to head to the happiest place on earth, Walt Disney World. We stayed for 8 days at the Pop Century Resort and flew in from Los Angeles. Hey I was watching your video lol I always watch all of them. But the moving stage ride at Disneyland I believe is closed because a female cast member was stuck and smushed to death in the ride. I actually just watched something about that not to long ago. I could be wrong about which park it happened at but they continued the ride for a few more years then closed it down so I think it was Disneyland lol.
Yep it happened when it was America Sings at Disneyland back in 1974 and a teenage cast member. It was only 9 days after opening. They had to redesign the walls to have breakaway sections. The building is still there, remember the Innovations and Star Wars exhibit that was in Tomorrowland? Kind of sad they let the building sit there and barely use it for anything anymore. It can still rotate.
