For a little clarification on the hiring policies. When applying you have to be 21 years old and have a high school diploma. GED isn’t acceptable. At the time you were hired, Breeze was accepting applicants who were 18 years old.
hello friend! In my video it states no airlines in the US currently hire under 21 ( to my knowledge). Also I was Hired at 21 with breeze! My first airline however I was 19(their policy is now 21 as well). Thank you
I just got my contract with Breeze based out of Norfolk (ORF). How does the training work? I am assuming they will fly me to there training facility. Can not wait to get this job started.
@@zuurrcc Awesome!!! How are the hours like. Like I heard what you said in the video however are the hours like 20 hours per week or something decent or is it like 1 hour per month. I am part time with them even though I requested full-time. It's so helpful to hear from you. Thank you.
@@theepicadventures you will be able to Bid for full time eventually since that was what you first wanted, cannot guarantee however that it will be rewarded. Hours really vary, as PT u should be getting minimum 37.5Hrs per month, full time is 70 hours per month guaranteed, paycheck wise, however u could fly only 40 hours tht month ( as a full time) but youd still get paid for 70 hours. hope this makes sense!
@@theepicadventures no problem! i hope all goes well & that you can get full time. instead of resigning im trying to go to part time so perhaps a full time position will open, fingers crossed
Being COOPED UP ON A PLANE with dramatic air turbulence just to fly for free on your day off for 20 dollars an hour as basically a waiter is not my idea as FUN. Especially if the plane has to make an emergency landing, deal with passenger fights at 30,000 feet??? No thanks ………. I would rather work for NYCT….😉
hahahaha i personally love airplanes, the ambiance of the hustle n bustle in airports and giving customer service regardless of the rare rude passenger- so it works out for me :) I agree not everyone could do this job heheheheh , its definitely my young adult job as they pay is not fit for life like u said but im definitely content right now and its easy to juggle with school since im on reserve now - and get a guaranteed pay regardless if i fly or not .. i would definitely not rather work for NYCT 😭 but i appreciate your feedback
@@zuurrcc The young people of today would rather not work for NYCT because they don't have a VISION of retirement ahead of time🤣. They just want the EASY way through life. Which is fine I understand. Glamour on a plane playing waitress serving crackers keeping the animals on the plane calm at 30,000 feet everyday is definitely NOT for me either. Being cooped up in a tube can wear out its welcome after about a month of doing it. The layover paid hotels in other countries sounds interesting. Chilling with your crew over drinks when your off the plane can be exciting when one is young but I am glad my future has a pension at the end of the tunnel including excellent benefits, AND YES MY JOB DEFINITELY Isn't FOR EVERONE.
