Hiii!! I'm Brazilian and in response to what you said in your video, yes!!! Spanish is veeery similar to Portuguese either in grammar or pronunciation. Loved your video, btw
@@brunoesteves6711 nah dude I'm also Brazilian, and the exact same thing happens to me Despite the similar words, many things still are different for us, and probably for a Spanish speaker too
In Turkish the letter “ğ” has no sounds at all :) We literally call it “soft g” but it has nothing to do with the sound of the “g”. We use “ğ” to lenghten the sound of the vowel before itself.
In Japanese there are 3 writing systems, kanji, hiragana, and katakana. Japanese was made just so rich people could learn it and it'd exclude the poor people (reason why its so hard to learn), so its based/taken a bunch of words from other languages. Kanji is based off of Chinese characters and katakana is for foreign words. Japanese 'letters' are called character as well as Chinese and I think Korean. Everyone is taught a certain stroke order so it all looks pretty and the same. It's very interesting to see other languages that the Japanese language uses!
Ex: bread in Spanish and Japanese are both pan ( パン) Another cool fact is that Japanese is the closest to the German pronunciation of Germany (Deutschland). In Japanese they say doitsu (ドイツ)
Ohhh also if you ever come across the word romanji its the english letters for characters. Example はじめまして in romanji would be hajimemashite and that is the way you would pronounce it.
Sorry for all this information I just really enjoy the Japanese language and have been learning frequently for 4+ years, yet I still feel like I'm so bad at it!
Wey que bonito hablas español siempre es agradable escuchar a alguien que el español no es su idioma y que lo hable y ademas tu voz queda muy bien o se escucha muy bien en español . Gran video por cierto .
Hello from Japan😃 it must have been very difficult to write our language but im surprised how you wrote it very well! And one more thing that i was surprised is how you wrote each letters. when we learn our language, we are taught to write each of the lines and dots of the each letters in a specific way so we can write the letters beautifully. and how you wrote each letters were the correct way to write them so i was very surprised!🤣 Thank you for making the video. 🥰
Love "I'll be your mirror" too! It was unexpected to meet this song here, but I'm very glad. Knew it from "Good Omens". Pleasant memories. Thank you for your video! It made me smile and relax
@@abbyrose7161 No itself actually. I don't remember the number of episode, but when Aziraphale was looking through the CD's in Crowley's car, he found "The Very Best of The Velvet Underground". I was interested what it is, and so I found this group and then "I'll be your mirror" (The Velvet Underground & Nico (1967)). It is the one of the most popular their songs, as I can suppose. On the disk from GO was another one popular song - "Pale Blue Eyes".
Korean has a easy writing system, similar to us that each letter together may a word, so separating them was no good but is understandable because you thought it will be like chinese.
I'm so glad you included turkish 😍 my absolute favorite language! The dots over the letters change the pronunciation so yes they matter, and the ğ is silent ❤️❤️
This was such a good idea for a video omg love it!! Also side note your handwriting of the Japanese characters was so good for someone who hasn’t studied them in depth??? When I first started writing them it was a hot mess
thats nice that u learn our language but i must say sometimes even we germans are confused with the language so its okay if u mess up a little bit or something like that 👍🏻😇
I did GCSE German too! I love the language but I’ll be honest the minute the exam was done I forgot pretty much everything 😭 I’m relearning it now though!
I know Japanese is really complicated but it's surprisingly easy to learn, for example I learned to speak fluent Japanese from Duolingo when I was 11! (Not bragging btw)

your voice is SO relaxing i love it sm!! and if you ever do it again maybe chinese would be cool 👀 japanese uses a lot of chinese words (it has three alphabets, the “loopy” characters are hiragana and harder seeming ines are probably chinese characters aka kanji) which you already wrote-and you said you’d taken classes which probably would make it easier!
I was born in Germany to Turkish parents. So my first language would be Turkish. Unfortunately I’m not as fluent in Turkish as I am in German. But I do understand daily conversations (however, not so much if it’s about idk economics, law and stuff like that). Also learned French but forgot a lot, so it’s only bits and pieces here. W is pronounced V and a V is pronounced F with a V aftertaste- if that makes sense 😅 You did pretty good for not knowing anything though! I also picked up a little French, stopped after a week but the s in “vous” actually does have a sound! it’s pronounced more like a Z! You had originally said you don’t think it does, but I understand why compared to other languages you probably know better!
