- turn on captions for english subs Well. What can I say? It's been forever since I fell so hard for a character. Yeo Jun is my baby. Watching his relationship with Nam Soo Hyun grow, how they came to understand and rely on each other, was really beautiful. There were some aspects of the drama that I feel could have been done a bit better, and I tried to kind of make this happen in my edit. I'm not sure I succeeded. Anyway. I love these two idiots so much.

This drama reminds me of my friend who have passed away sadly. She had similar things happening, her family called her names, beaten her and wished her to never be born, 1 year later after she free herself from them, she found out that she had a cancer we lost her after her body gave up. And her family didn’t know until a year later. Her family contacted us to see if we have any pictures of her happy smiling but we lied that we don’t, as we promised her that they won’t use her happy pictures to show people that she was happy. When in realty she was dying inside everyday. Dramas like this show that there is love at the end of the tunnel but you need to believe yourself that you can get there.

You deserve all the happiness and love. When you feel in pain, pls ask for help, I know it wont be easy, but I did and now I am happier. This show really demonstrated the different lives people live in. Some may be living in a rich family, poor or even abusive Never judge someone by their cover. This kdrama was amazing from beginning to end and made me cry every time. Now I want to watch it again

I can forgive the brother, who was misguided but well-intentioned. But the parents deserve far worse than they got.
I agree, the brother did the wrong thing for the right reasons and it was heartbreaking to watch him realise his mistake.
The parents are unexcusable, they deserve to be jailed, although I wanted to believe that the mother acted like that due to her trauma.

This is really good. I like the friendship thats being displayed. If this pushed them to be a couple I wouldn't mind, but this drama looks so good and emotional that I don't care if they don't. I feels like they need a real friend and just form this video I can see that they not only know each other real side but need each other as well.(not in a symbiotic way.)

This drama reminds me of everything that reality have these days:( Family conflict and avoiding of deep depression. Indeed, the actors did a great job at playing their roles. Baksuuu Park Jihoon-ah😭😍
no but seeing how the other lead (sorry idk his name, haven't watch the drama yet) throwing harsh words at him even though i know he changed at the end really hurts me so so much. and how the main guy keep acting tough and trying so hard to look unbothered. this is so disturbing, those are words i'd like to forget and never ever hear them again. they aren't even thrown to me but somebody else and it already hurts me on a very deep level and the fact that this happened in real life to sooo many innocent kids out there... no one ever deserves to be treated this way
I would definitely watch it if you haven't yet! It's really good! Also, it's not shown in this video but the other guy was going through horrible stuff too which is why he was so harsh in the beginning. Aside from that, the character of jeo yun (blond hair) was being kind of fake at the start. He was fake with everyone because he didn't want to show he was in pain but soo hyun (black hair) saw right through it because he himself was in pain too and called him out for it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, This is one of the best dramas ever made. The story, the characters, the acting, the osts....everything is just amazing.
Coming here to remember this masterpiece after Park Jihoon acting as Si eun from weak hero and I have to say he's seriously one of my favoite actors the way you can see so much emotion in his eyes.
fr fr his eye acting is amazing. even during the scenes in weak hero where he had no dialogue, just his eyes conveyed a 1000 different emotions

they were in love nothing change my mind. they had so much private time and shared their pain eo. the last ep yeojun's flasbacks and coffee pouring scene was declared it. their moments were so special. i don't even get excited with main couple. now waiting for their own bl series, hopelessly :((
Same. It was really cute what Jun and Bin had with each other but I didn't feel that spark I felt with Joon and Soohyun. It was obvious tbh. Before I even knew that this was originally a BL, I already thought that this would be one (i didn't know it at that time) and I saw the chemistry from miles ago lol.
They did an AMAZING job at showing their growth as characters, the way they show their true smiles and break away their ice cold exterior, god I cried so much during this it’s not even funny
Watching this series gave me the strength to finally talk about the sexual abuse I endured as a kid. It unveiled a side to my father thatI could have lived my whole life without seeing. But I'm forever grateful to this series for showing me that you can move past pain. I'm still figuring it out, but I feel personally grateful to the actors who portrayed these complicated characters and gave me a way to feel a pain I hadn't let myself and still don't let myself fully feel. When I watch this show, it makes me feel like pain won't be my whole life. They'll probably never see this, but I hope other people were also comforted by this series and by these actors.

This was such a Great drama, it was a reminder that underneath it all, we are all the same and can have the same kinds of sadness no matter our status. And also that everybody needs somebody. And that having that someone really see you can help in leaps and bounds.❤
This was such a beautiful drama to watch. Don't get me wrong what they did to Yeo Jun was horrible but it love how their characters have developed throughout the drama and in the end you can see that both of them found a real friend in each other

In the original, the webtoon it's based on, BL is canon and they do end up in a relationship. The directors choose not to include that though... which made me not want to watch it. It's sad because the opportunity would be perfect ;_;

My demons consisted of my depression and ocd and when Soohyun told Jun that he never hated him it reminded me of when I found out that my mother actually didn't hate me. I can never help but cry on that scene.

It would have been better if there wasn't Normal couple love line. Cuz the chemistry between them is much better and so it's somehow feel strange to watch the romance scene between him and girl.
i relate to that boy so much…i have a father who beats me and a mother who won’t save me from him. i try so hard to make everyone like me because i am not even liked by my own family. i hide it with a smile and jokes. but inside, i’m miserable and so desperately need people.
