I love dramas like this. I like how it's not just about two men falling in love. It is deeper than that. I like how they touch on mental health, death and trauma. Realistic things seen in the real world. The lighting and filters help tell the story. This drama is so beautiful and raw. It's a masterpiece and a hidden gem. It's sad that because it's "different," it wasn't shown as much love as popular dramas. BLs series that aren't full of fluff and spice usually don't get as much love.
I agree with you. I suggest you to watch Night flight. It's awesome. I think you'd love it.
True, but in a poll on Viki on the most popular BL series The Eight Sense got first place. So I think for the people who have seen this drama, for many of them it goes straight up into their top five of BL dramas. Because it's so different, authentic, raw, and, beautiful.
For me no other bl compares to it.

i always love how jihyun just gets jaewon's feelings and mind, right at the beginning jaewon himself noticed this and knew he was in love
The lighting of this series, the way they used the light and colors to tell their story is so beautifully done. Jae Won was being so hard on himself after the accident, so he’s in a dark place 0:34 but when he’s around Ji Hyun again, there’s so much light around 0:38 he’s again without Ji Hyun and there’s no light 0:43 and when it was so bright and Ji Hyun was glowing even 1:04 Jae Won left the light and went back to the dark 0:55 unwillingly and I love how Ji Hyun was actually observing him 1:29 not believing in his words but in his eyes that told him something else 1:26
Ji Hyun is so precious, he really wanted to be there for Jae Won and heal his wounds 2:00 and Ji Hyun really wanted to have him back 2:34 and he took his hand again and offered comfort and connection like before 2:36 because his touches were always meaningful 2:40 and he always offered himself for Jae Won to take 2:55 and hold 2:59 5:28
This moment 3:14 was so touching and once again Ji Hyun knew what to say to Jae Won and how to touch his heart, and how Jae Won could be sure he will always be there for him 3:16 always waiting for him 3:22 without being pushy because he gets him, and Jae Won was happy because of his words 3:24. He’s so cheesy 3:28 and Ji Hyun so naughty 3:33 and he was letting out his sassy side even here 3:58 and the country mouse was kinda wooing Jae Won here 4:07 yeah, Jae Wonie, keep believing he’s an intimidated country mouse 4:10 😅 he chased him 4:35 Ji Hyun wanted him and he wanted to let go of his fears so he was the bravest 😉
I really want a second season and I want to see Ji Hyun getting embarrassed like this again 4:19 but he’s so sassy that I don’t know, but I still have faith in the way Jae Won stares 4:21 that boy has a way with his eyes and his sneaky little glances 4:23

this was a hidden gem. I liked this drama a lot, though it dragged on a little and felt rushed closer to the end, I appreciated the chemistry, the colors and the soundtrack, and the portrayal of mental health struggles.
