I love how the mind control doesn’t erase Batman’s personality or mannerisms. He’s the same character we know and love, just twisted to serve Darkseid. That’s more tragic and more terrifying than if he’s was acting like a robot.
Did the same to Superman. Being its easier to keep their personality and not have them feel something is wrong about them. Being if you erase their history they are no longer as useful. Given the traits that make them great are erased and when their memories don't make sense it just resurfaces the old ones. Thus you alter it just a tad bit to where they don't question their current reality.
I love how Darkseid knew how dangerous Batman could be, so he made Batman his right hand man and gave him his throne to keep him around.

I admit that despite the fact that the DCAU films are not my favorite, there is a great degree of brilliance in how they executed Darkseid’s takeover of Earth. First, he uses Cyborg as a spy, using the Apocaliptan technology that’s been grafted on to Victor’s body to see through his eyes and learn about the League’s plan to attack Apocalypse. Then he uses a hybrid of Doomsday and Parademons to annihilate the League without any effort, and rather than just killing them, he turns Batman into his top strategist and military general, Cyborg into his personal mainframe and thereby enhancing his capabilities, grafts Kryptonite into Superman’s bloodstream and as an insult to injury brands a Kryptonite House of El symbol on to Clark’s chest, almost as if it’s a way of making fun of Superman’s foolish efforts to inspire hope through symbolism and heroics. And finally, he turns the League members and Teen Titans members he killed into his personal soldiers after enhancing them with Apocalyptan technology the same way he did to Hank Henshaw. I definitely underestimated Darkseid’s thoroughness to not only kill his enemies, but also to make them useful for his efforts in controlling the universe. It shows that despite his desires to use the Anti-Life Equation to control the universe, he already has the capability to control the universe simply by using the technology that he has to turn those he slaughters or captures into loyal Parademons/ParaDooms or into Apocalyptic soldiers. Which makes me wonder, why does he even need the Equation when he can just use his military superiority to get what he wants.

This shows how much respect that Darkside has for Batman, to the point that he made him his second in command, giving him dominion when Darkside isn’t there, even though I’m certain that Darksides other subjects were probably pissed but they weren’t going to say anything right lol?
I like this, to actually see he becomes the darkness that he was so afraid of being, knowing he would never come back from to be an unstoppable force...it would be cool to see if he actually can take control of his greatest fear

The version in this movie is very different from the comic version of the darkseid war where Batman gets the chair (one version has metron still exist for one) in this one the chair was likely modified to bend to darkseids will so that the user would as well after metron was removed
They are just taking everything from the comics and throwing into the animated stuff. The consistency is out the widow because "Hey comics, guys! Look!"

In only one movie Lord Batman reached the status of being the best villain in the DC Universe.

Darkseid seems to be one of the only villains that recognizes Batman's capabilities. Most others in this scenario would've just killed him off, like how could a regular unpowered human be of any use?
It's also strange how Batman was the only one that's body was left unharmed as well, it makes me wonder what future plans Darkseid had for him. Perhaps he had potential for something?
Batman is considered worthy enough to use the Mobius chair, someone like that would be invaluable to decrypting the Anti-Life Equation.

The best part of this movie was that Batman kicked Damian's ass badly in the end. He didn't hold back this time. Now the score is even.
That's when people realized two things.
Batman always held back against Damien. Even when he tried to kill him.
And two: Damien may be a highly trained killer but he's still a teenager. His body as it is now won't let him utilize his training to its full extent. A teenager will always lose against an adult in physical strength and speed.
How much grudge you have with the Damian, just keep out the injustice thing out of this

@@SeddyAm Not really in my opinion, if we speaking mentally and fairly, Bruce will still hold the candle. I mean, we all know that Damian is raised by Assassin but never once until at some point that Damian think LoA (League of Assassin) was bad guy and what they did was torture, Damian agree with them in fact. He doesn't feel sadness or hurt feelings.
Bruce meanwhile raised differently and while it is lighter and kinder but that what makes it much crueler, because Bruce knew kindness, he knew love of mother and father, then all of them taken away brutally and he can't do anything to stop it.
Cruelty is when you have so many thing you love but they suddenly taken away and you can't do a thing to stop it.
Truthfully you can't compare which childhood is crueler since both of them has different nurture but if we put it from 3rd person view, Batman has it darker than Damian since Batman knew love, Damian meanwhile is not
