    How many receivers can you use per transmitter

    • @gfire_productions
      @gfire_productions  2 месяца назад

      Hello, and thank you for watching my friend. I don't know the exact limitations on number for receivers that can be used with the single transmitter, but I've used 4 receivers with a single transmitter successfully. Two mains, one remote in the same room as the mains and one hallway speaker in the hall.

      @@gfire_productions thanks. We are thinking on adding some speakers in a car wash and where wondering if this could b used. Seems doable. Thanks

      @@shadowort2287 just to be clear if you were operating the speakers with the alto stealth, you could put it wherever you want as I did in the video, however, the speakers themselves have a very limited IP rating. The alto stealth has absolutely no IP rating which means they're not designed to be in a misty or wet area especially inside of a car wash where the sprayers and brushes are going with water going everywhere.
      Now the EV verse eight speakers on their own does have an IP rating however, they're not fully waterproof and do require the back trey to be put on over the electronics to help protect him but again this has a very limited IP rating which means they can only get wet, but so much before something eventually goes wrong with the speakers.
      If you looking to put the speakers where there is no car wash sprayers operating then that would be OK. lastly, there are specifically designed speakers that are meant to get rained like the ones they put anything in Parks, for example.

    Do you think it’s necessary with the alto system to get the ant extender like the Shure one?

    • @gfire_productions
      @gfire_productions  5 месяцев назад +1

      Great question. In my opinion any antenna encasement would be an improvement. in y experience it is not necessary and I been very successful in large environments: Check out this example of the alto stealth in a very large room: ruclips.net/video/LIYQJrxPlRE/видео.html

    Torn between AT Wave eight with Sonic link or the Everse 8 - mainly for Dance music.. whats the bass response like on the Everse 8 in real life? AT Wave 8 is supposed to be 20Hz-20Khz and the Everse 8 'only' goes down tp 50Hz

      @@Lectrosoul thanks for watching. Let me first say every speaker is great for what it’s been for but at some point, we all have to ask ourselves who is every type of speaker for and what purpose does it serve. I chose the Everse 8 based on wedding ceremony set up. It is not my go to choice for partying unless I’m in a really small environment and I have tested out both(a pair of EV8s) of them in a party type of environment. I reiterate is not my first choice for a party but it is a good choice based on the features I needed. if the wave 8 had use replaceable battery id probably pick it up in a heart beat, the 20Hz-20Khz is quite appealing✌

    Bluetooth introduces audio lag. When mixing... you don't want that. Wireless audio adapters like the stealth are super low latency compared to pure blutooth and they get much better range. Simple as that. Good video though - great idea to power the stealth off the power out of the PA.

      Thanks for your input and watching this video. Yeah I generally don't mix with Bluetooth because it lags big time.

    is this giving you a true left and right stereo channel seperation or are you getting a mono signal to both speakers?

    • @gfire_productions
      @gfire_productions  20 дней назад +1

      No this setup is mono to both the wired and the wireless systems. If I wanted both of my Everse speakers to be stereo, I would first have to ensure that the Serato DJ program is set to stereo output then on the back of the Alto Stealth, I would switch it over to stereo. The receivers can be set to receive as a left channel or right channel so I would also have to ensure that one of them is set to receive on the left channel, and the other is set to receive on the right channel. In that scenario, I could probably both out to my QSC system. There's a lot of ways to get this done I just chose the most practical way for me. Also, in this scenario, stereo is totally irrelevant because I have a single subwoofer and top speaker under the back deck, one single speaker inside, and another single speaker outside. Stereo does not matter, and in my opinion mono makes more sense.

      @gfire_productions im a sound buff guy, i hate mono with a passion, simple because I've never liked how everything gets mixed and lost in translation. I use the xvive xlr system with my everse 12s, 8s, ans alto ts415s and gotta say, its super easy and the sound quality is top notch, to each their own, alto makes quality shit and reasonable prices, thats for sure

      Thanks for watching. I usually set the Everse 8s to unity gain and it powered the Alto stealth through the entire event. I've rocked the Everse 8s for 5-6 hours at full party mode with more time to spare. Average wedding from prelude to grand exit is 6 hours. Average park & rec gig is 4 hours. Most Ive done with stealth powered by EV8 was 7 hors and with time to spair.
