Instead of broken /full long rice grains, I used ground basmati rice (not powder). I added cardamom powder & charoli. Rest I followed your recipe. Turned out delicious. Thank you.
actually yes kheer is made with short grained rice and the consistency should be such that the rice is completely over cooked i mean it should be a bit mashy.. because thats what gives kheer a soft thickening and then there would be no need to add corn starch
thats very nice I always make kheer for shri Krishna,I liked the variation of vannila powder, always thought to use vannila powder but confused,thanks for it. actually I also add scraped coconut it also gives nice taste ,thank u

hey@chef loved the idea of custard but as it has vanilla flavor I would prefer cornstarch as don't want the fragrance of vanilla in my kher, n using Caedmons powder will be best 😇 I don't like anything comes between me n my kheer you see😋
