    I have HORRIBLE self esteem issues. I hate generally everything about myself. But I’m trying to change, because I realized that talking down about myself all the time makes people not want to be around me. They don’t wanna here me talk about how ugly I think I am or how I feel I can’t do anything right. I heard a good quote one time that stated “It’s all about confidence. Nobody actually has it, you just have to project it.”

      You are right. Negative self-talk doesn't do anyone good because it's like a self fulfilling prophecy. if you say, "I'm ugly." often you will feel stress, self doubt, anxiety, or unloved. Then you will act in a way of insecure maybe might not care or put effort in self-care because you said that statement to yourself. It's not that you are ugly. It's the thinking (though) of yourself that made it seem that way. I know how you feel, let me help you see how beautiful you are. =) I would be happy to connect with you.

    No.1 way for me: Keep your promises to yourself. No amount of grooming, money, exercise, social rec, can make up for the disappointment I feel, in myself, when I let myself down. So, don't make promises to yourself that you can't keep, and keep the promises you make to yourself.

    I find it for myself I've struggled with self love and my self esteem for a long time. Being bullied through school, having negative family members growing up and having a toxic ex boyfriend (of which I finally had the courage to leave). What really gets to me is my appearance and my body. I compared myself too much to other people and social media tends to be my trigger. I could be scrolling and seeing a woman showing off her body in a tiktok or instagram and I don't look like that, my body isn't like that. Then you see the comments and it just puts my mind into this spiral. I want to be sexy, beautiful... perfect like those comments. I feel like I need to change and be like that because it seems like everyone stops and stares, admires and wants a piece of that person. Rather than someone who dresses with a bit more coverage to their body and not so much make-up. 😞 my ex would say to me 'why don't you look like that' with videos and adult videos as well and I would just walk away, let it linger in my mind without learning how to change my mind to think opposite...
    Why is self love and gaining that self esteem/self confidence so hard 😭

      Hi, i hope you are doing great during thia time. First of all,I feel you. I was in that situation before. We all know that we have different walks of life. I understand how u feel. What really works for me is first i do self affirmation and meditation everyday, i am focus on being positive, counting blessings even the small ones like i am happy that i have food daily. I also stop using social media i deleted my tiktok, instagram and fb. It really works for me. I just focus my energy into something that will make me grow and improve. I do yoga as well. Wishing u the best. Please know that you are love, you are beautiful and sweetie know ur worth. You are beyond amazing sweetie.

    My favourite suggestion is to have a point of pride. I have so many goals .. and to have one thing that I’m proud of is key. I’m proud of ; my teaching career, my relationship with my kids, my RUclips channel and my fitness level.

    7 (QUICK) TIPS TO INCREASE SELF ESTEEM!
    1.Meditate
    2.Use positive affermations
    3.Visualise
    4.Ask questions to yourself(reflect back on all the good things you did in past)
    5.Avoid nagitivity.
    6.Hang out with people that feel good with you (point is to feel needed)
    7.Give compliments. (you treat yourself the same way you treat others, treat others well)

    There is no need to increase self esteem. If you function within the established perimeters of adaquit resourcefulness, there is no need to feel good about yourself. Feeling good about one's self will not improve your monitary flow nor acquisition of resources. Attend to your needed tast. Work to accomplish the task, no matter how you feel about yourself, nor the task. Dredge through and complete the task. Emotions should play no role in accomplishing tasks. I, myself, fell myself to be inadequate for most tasks. However, I just go forward one step at a time. At the end, the task is complete. If it is done unsatisfactory, it was just done wrong. There is no need to do anything else but start with he task again, no matter how one feels. It the task is accomplished successfully the second attempt, you stop. If it is done wrong again, simply start ver again. Emotions do not need to be included for any task. The way one feels is irrelevant.

    I used to be so confident, recently my self esteem has gone downheel, i am unable to accept negativity of others,gets upset with people's negetivity, sometimes have anxiety and have overthinking issues. I don't want to go to school because whenever i do someone says something negative to me and my whole day is ruined and i feel bad, i can't reply either. It hurts sm! I have so much low concentration that even i want to study hard i can't just. Irs not like i get bullied in school, but i can't take negetive comments at all and i feel insecure,i don't have friends that much. I am a 16 year old and idk how many days these stuff will last! I am trying so hard to become strong

    Sometimes cleaning helps me restructure my doubting thoughts. Too much idol down time can destroy your selfesteem just like not enough can stress you out. I would say it's more about balance between working at something whether that be your job, project, hobby, and finding something that relaxes you and gives you a calm. Edit: Social media is has been proven to raise people's stress level. Sometimes going on a social media fast is all you need.

    When your self is your supervisor and keeper & dont push you to do stupids things that would ruins your both lives well being then know you reached the King level that even kings would wish to be like it , man kind nature were originally designed to activates/work right when a human makes peace with their self but you cant be anything but yourself and other destroyer figure if you wish to have Soso look and fofo cloth styles and sharon charactor to fit in a situations wasnt basically designed for you and you had to self cancel to fit in it ,that a lie to self type of characters that going to self destruction and would cause nothing but it to who would mix with them/follow their lead as well eventually .

    I was sad because I couldn't find a body I wanted to work towards. I realised I just loved mine but felt guilty 😅

    Remember that God the creator of earth and heaven has created everything perfectly with no faults, then why you think He created you imperfect !!!! Your skin colour, your nose, eyes , hight , everything is perfect even if you have lost hair , still you are beautiful, you don’t need to change anything in your body …. In your free time read Quran the book of muslims ponder on its meaning and think deep about it , you will see how much God love you million times more than your parents and even your lover….. good luck

    No offense, but the truth is that sometimes life doesn’t go well, and nothing changes eventually if you don’t dare to make any change. However, at least it gives you a little bit consolidation I think.
