    to sum up.
autism is just being human with quirks, as every human has.
but we found a word for it and some people think its cool.
there might be severe cases of course, especially when there is physical evidence in brain scans etc.
but the definition in medicine changes all the time and because doctors use words like autism and adhd, creating categories to describe different, absolutely normal and widespread human traits, people assume they're part of this category, identify with it, and depending on the current trends, they may carry it around like a badge.
i was diagnosed with adhd when i was 12, it's been 18 years.
when i was 16, i told my parents i don't want the medication anymore, i don't want to go to the doctor anymore.
i stopped believing in the crap that the doctors told me, and now I'm happy, well established, calm where i need to be, concentrated when i need to be, I've been like this since around 20.
i have a friend who went another route, embracing the crap, taking the pills, using the so-called condition as an excuse for everything.
he's still like that, still goes to the doctor, takes medicine, he is 100% sure he cannot go without taking the pills, he starts rambling about and excusing it with adhd.
i am sure the pills changed his brain chemistry irreversibly at some point.
    what i am saying is.
why can't people just accept to be human and stop believing in all the trendy new crap?
freud at one point said that it is an undeniable fact that male children fall in love with their mothers and female children with their fathers.
just think of the implications of taking this as a fact and embracing it from a young age.
never forget, doctors are nothing more than fancy plumbers and handymen. they learn from books, through trial and error, they don't know what they are doing, not more than you know what you're actually doing when using your phone or driving your car.
being able to execute a task does not mean full comprehension of the implications.
i doubt most people know the true nature of the glass, metal, plastic in their phones making up the highly complex device they're holding in their hands.
so, in the end. if presented with the choice of being an autist, or a strange guy.
I'd pick the strange guy, because why would i accept someone telling me my strangeness is a medical condition?
