Mad respect for Des she is so transparent about her experiences even if she’s not proud of them. The fact she can take accountability for her actions even when Sav says stuff like “they had a problem” Des will say “& so did I” . This not only is inspiring to see that it’s okay to make mistakes & be held accountable for our actions as long as we learn from them but also she seems like an overall amazing role model . You can definitely feel the big sister energy in this podcast ❤
SAV being a party girl, I just can't picture it. I love Destiny's honesty and really appreciate that she did not try to excuse her behavior, downplay it as youthful indulgence, or glorify drinking and driving. God sent you a wake-up call and you listened--Praise God. Destiny you are a beautiful young lady and I wish nothing but success and happiness for you. The sister podcast should be a regular episode n your podcast.
I’m a silent watcher/listener, but I love your whole family. I love how real and raw you guys are. I’m so proud of you, Des. This couldn’t be easy to talk about and let the whole world listen in, but it’s incredible to hear your story and the progress you’ve made ❤
Always a good time when Des is in the pod!! The Byyeee was spot on! Thanks for sharing with us and we’re so glad that God allowed you to come out of that! 🤎
That is so crazy guys! I loved this episode so much. I’m so proud of you Des for telling us this. That’s such a blessing from God too that your mom was a cop and got somewhat protected from the worser cases. You’re such a light and you are such a good aunt ❤I hope everything continues to go well for you and even you Sav. You guys are so amazing❤
Happy birthday Des!! My birthday is the 9th and I turned 40😬😬 The 30’s were SO legit, best decade thus far. I appreciate you sharing your story. I had a DWI at 25, but finally stopped drinking 16 months ago. What’s crazy is I never cared how bad it made me feel or that my husband and I were constantly fighting. My 11 year old daughter told me one day that she didn’t like when I drink, because I acted “weird.” I never wanted to be that person OR that parent. I’m so proud of you for choosing and being the person YOU want to be. Great content ladies, Happy early birthday Josh!!
You guys were so great to listen to and love you, Destiny!! Praise the Lord for how He protected & guided you through that very hard time in your life!❤
Hi ladies* Awesome story telling and personal sharing!!! Des, we're all so happy that you made it through a tough situation. Also happy belated birthday🎉🎉
Happy for you Destiny. I’m glad things turned around for you. Alcohol can really make someone lose so much in their lives. I was in a relationship where my bf at the time was addicted to alcohol and broke us apart. I always hope and pray anyone who is in these situations finds their way out. Thank you for sharing 💛 Happy for you Des.
I’d like to say thank you for being so open and honest about your life. And additionally I’m so glad you were able to change your perspective. Looking forward to your next drink and craving it is such a problem and can lead to heavy addiction so I’m so glad you did not have to become addicted to alcohol.
I hope your story does resonate with someone. I had a very close family member that had an incident happen about 10 years ago. They had been drinking & then received an emergency call regarding their elderly mom. Without hesitation they jumped in the car to go to her. This person was upset, distracted & had been drinking slightly (not over the limit but as close as you can be.) An accident ended up occurring & this person served 7 years in prison. Never had been arrested in 40+ years, lost their professional license, etc. It was an extremely traumatic time for our family. This person still struggles with what happened but has received help to work through it. It’s NEVER worth it to drive after drinking!! Even if you aren’t over the legal limit something terrible could happen. The other person could even be at fault for the accident but because you were distracted, reckless driving, dui, etc you could find yourself somewhere you’d never imagine & living with a nightmare forever! Be safe ❤
I don’t remember a thing but I believe it’s because of the trauma and toxic environment I was in. I love hearing you guys reminisce, it’s so beautiful.
Very great couple that’s truly know the lord. Young people need your input. Keep being truthful. There is a need for it. Your answers are real. You have lived on the path of righteousness and not off because you are young. I applaud you. Keep doing his work. ❤
Love this I was finishing up dinner when I first started this & I had to do a double take because your sister literally sounds just like you and I always forget until y’all are together 😂😂😂 loved this episode ❤ I’ll be 30 on the 28th and I am actually excited. My 20s were so bad that I’m excited to hit 30 especially because I just got married a few weeks ago. It’s making me excited. It’s like a fresh start and new chapter. Happy bday Des & Josh ❤
Loved this episode!! I could listen to y’all for hours, and huge shout out to Destinee for being so honest and sharing her story. Happy Birthday Destinee and Josh!! 🎉❤
Here’s a point. If someone says they can’t afford an Uber, then affording alcohol shouldn’t be feasible either. If you can pay enough to get as wasted as possible, paying for a safe ride should be the only option. I can’t stand how bars won’t be responsible for making sure people have a plan following leaving intoxicated.
Loved this epsiode, Des has such a sweet vibe. It’s sad how the ‘system’ makes you think needing to go through all of that was a valuable and necessary lesson, a night in jail is absolutely where it should’ve stopped and you didn’t relate to the guys in AA because you absolutely weren’t like them and you didn’t belong there. The $50 you paid every week to pee was not to help you learn, it was to trap you and every moment of your life for a year, they don’t care about you actually getting something positive out of it. That’s why that woman said you’d be back, she wouldn’t have a job otherwise and she thrives on people’s misfortune. I was trying to find momma Kim’s Cops episode and only found Terry’s story and all I have to say is.. wild lmao
I knew someone close to me. She had a whole probation for a year with testing every week. The same process. To this day never reinstated her license and she doesn’t drive anymore. She stopped drinking but she is still terrified to drive. How crazy
Went to middle school with destiny and I remember going to a dance team competition with you guys lol. Shout out to your mom for giving me a ride 😂💕 -Rachel
Ahaha 😂😂😂👏👏❤️🥰 I love you guys!!! Made my day full of laughter and as moms. I barely have my free time than some during night. ❤️ feel good catching up love follow life and journey of life with you guys and family!
When my first son was two, these kids on the playground were making fun of him and I'm telling you right now I almost kicked their butts. My husband had to stop me and now that he's going to be 16, it's still scary
Omg!! The story about Sav getting her finger slammed in the door is so crazy. I am the middle child and I have an older sister and younger brother. My brother use to also try to come into our room. One day he would not stop so I went to slam the door in his face but my brother put his hand inbetween the door hinge to stop the door and I slammed it in there.
This is hilarious to me as I'm watching the podcast while cooking and I have to keep looking at the screen to see which one of you is actually talking cause you sound so much alike🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol I definitely regret showing my oldest how scared I am of bugs, because she will freak out at the smallest bug 😭😭. Thankfully, my second daughter is better because I have learned to hide my fear a little bit lol
I loved this podcast’s energy! I hope you guys had great birthdays🥰 It would be so cool if you guys had your own podcast, I would tune in💯 #SoshSqaud #DopestSquadOnTheInternet
Lol at 2 we have them just do at night or nap time then at 3 the Easter Bunny takes it to give to other babies in need. By that age they understand bunny and it's not so hard for them.
Sav I love you but the Stanley🙃 it’s a water bottle. Just get any water bottle. It holds water. That is its purpose😮 it doesn’t matter if it’s Stanley or Frankenstein. Does it have water in it? Exactly. Anyway I am sorry but just my own thoughts
The amount of times that y’all say “dude” is crazy 😂 but I loved this podcast🤍
‼️‼️‼️
😂 I literally came to the comments to see if anyone else thought this.. and this is the first comment that came up!! 😂😂
This was going to be my comment word for word. 😅
Josh said dude, well he didn't say dude 😆
Or “ like” it’s too much.

You guys need your own podcast. This was a different vibe than usual but even as a guy this had me locked in!
Noice

Amen that's why Jesus hates divorces . 😢 What happend?? I don't have 40 min to sit and watch. What happened for the split up?? R they remarried ?

I love how Sav kept giving Josh credit but she did so well carrying this podcast herself❤
Hi ladies* Awesome story telling and personal sharing!!! Des, we're all so happy that you made it through a tough situation. Also happy belated birthday🎉🎉
I love when you guys are on together you sound like the same person, great job. Happy Birthday Josh and Destiny !!!!

Happy Birthday Josh and Des. My birthday was yesterday the 11th while I am much older. I will say life gets better with age. 40s are the new 20s.
This was such a good episode, thanks for sharing Des. Love the sister vibes and Sav you did good leading. Happy Birthday Josh and Des!🎉
This is Brittney and you guys were NOT brats. I loved hanging out with you girls. You guys were so nice and sweet and we had so much fun ❤
Needed this sister moment!

So weird not having Josh on the pod, but loved seeing Des on For Us again. God bless you guys (from your biggest silent watcher)
I don’t remember a thing but I believe it’s because of the trauma and toxic environment I was in. I love hearing you guys reminisce, it’s so beautiful.

I love this sister conversation. I was laughing with you guys the entire time recalling my childhood. That Stanley incident got me upset.😡😤

Happy Birthday February Babies!!

I swear I thought the outro was Sav 😂 at 1st because I'm just listening to it like a podcast.
Sav & Des need their own podcast like apart from Josh and Sav podcast.
Happy birthday 🎉
Have a great one
I love the girl talk!💓
Is Savannah pregnant?? 👀 @13:27
Wondered that too lol. Maybe it’s just how she phrased it...”since being pregnant.”
She definitely is
Yes#3❤
Lol I definitely regret showing my oldest how scared I am of bugs, because she will freak out at the smallest bug 😭😭. Thankfully, my second daughter is better because I have learned to hide my fear a little bit lol

My brain can’t function after the million likes just within the first 8 minutes.
😬
I love how you were like I dont want to see it slowly suck up the big spider and made the sucking sound... hahhaha 😂love you destinee. You are so cute
