I was looking forward to building this pc. Now...not so much...it seems like its barely hovering around 60fps in most games, what should i buy to hit comfortable fps at 1080p maxed out
its not getting constant 60+ fps on the demanding games because its being tested at 1080p ultra or high. Overall this GPU is still the perfect choice for 1080p high 60+ fps because they can deliver those fps in most games, its just that a few games they will struggle to get 60+ when played at ultra/high settings.
If it can run Ark on High settings at 60 FPS; it's a good pc. Not the greatest elite pc, but damn good for anyone that is on a budget. Ark is a whole other level of graphics compared to many of the games in this list, since the environment is highly interactive and cluttered (modern survival simulation games tend to be like this).
vram really only has to do with handling texture quality ect. As you increase the resolution and graphical settings the vram usage will increase. It doesn't have anything to do with how much power the GPU is using. A lot of games that are still pretty popular cant max the vram though a lot of newer games can easily max it but it is a more economical graphics card and its a pretty good value for 1080p gaming and some 1440p gaming.

It will play most games at 1440p and get around 60fps but you may not be able to crank the settings to max on some of the newer more demanding games. But its a respectable 1080p card that can do some 1440p gaming but dont expect 4k out of it. Id get at least a 2080ti if you want to do 4k gaming. Also for 1440p gaming id recommend trying to get a 2070 even though its more expensive it will be much more enjoyable and will be able to handle future releases at 1440p for some time versus the 1660 super that will struggle with future releases at 1440p but its definitely not worth buying a 4k monitor for a 1660 super. If you dont plan on getting a 2080ti or better within the next few years id just stick with a 1440p 144hz monitor

bro i am still novice and i would like a pc from gaming
do you recommend this?
Very good budget build and great specs he’s playing on ultra settings and it’s not worth the frame drop for the graphics so high settings you will hold 100fps on most games
Get the i7 with the 1660 ti
What do you use to show the details on the left side of the screen? Temp, usage and all
MSI Afterburner, it's a free program :)
Just got these in Dell G5. Is this able to run 4K at all or what? Apologies for this is my first pc and I do not have any clue about the details of the master race
Makes no sense my cpu gets upto 70+ degrees hot while usage is around 30 to 60 percent with stock cooler how do you have such low temperatures? Even my gpu gets upto 73 using Galax variant
Man how are you getting those temperatures on the stock cooler? My GPU temperatures vary around 68-75° under full load.
Maybe it has something to do with where you live. I live in Rajasthan and I get 80°C GPU temp all the time. Will test in winters how much difference would it make.
It just good cooling don't use the stock cooler
I got a intel i5 10400f with 16g ram and my old gtx970 still can play some game but i want upgrade for a 1660 super 6gb is it a good way to spend 600$ just for this part or better to wait for something else 🤔🤔
Im rather late to the party, but with this CLU / GOU and exact same settings in Destiny 2 Im only pulling 40 FPS with crazy inout latency. Not sure what the issue is but this video has convinced me I've done something wrong somewhere. Any ideas? 24 gigs memory.
Ta ai o pc que eu tava planejando montar, agr só falta o dinheiro
Im,I3 10100F with gtx 1660 super, so diffrent vs i5 10400F ? Better im upgrade to i5 10400f or not? Thanks you
if you didn't bought 10100f then I would have tell you to go for i5 10400f
but now that you already bought it, I would say stick with 10100f,It's good enough, not worth the upgrade
Great combo. I will build pc with same specs. Thx for benchmarks.
fps on competitive settings with : 1660 super , i5-10400F , msi b460 pro m , 1x16gb ram ( i dont have an option for the ram ) hope someone replies :/
the ram doesnt effect the actual frames that much in games so youll likely get the same as him
@@hullywully it does effect the cpu decreasing fps especially with 2666mhz search for ram speed benchmarks and you'll see
I just ordered a pc with these parts thanks for the benchmarks!
how is it so far? i am planning on this set too.
@@josephmarsh3990 samee bru did you build it
Can i play those games with that setut but with only 8 gb of ram?
most setups with this combination use 8 gigs of RAM (probably the pc in this vid too). So you'll get more or less the same experience.
Should I get this instead of a rtx 3070 and i7? costs 1400 for that
Which program did you take the screen recording with?
Kanka büyük ihtimal obs yada nvidia nın kendi programı
I was looking forward to building this pc. Now...not so much...it seems like its barely hovering around 60fps in most games, what should i buy to hit comfortable fps at 1080p maxed out
Rtx 3090 and i9 10900k
its not getting constant 60+ fps on the demanding games because its being tested at 1080p ultra or high.
What would you define as budget? I found a setup with this hardware for 999 euros. ?
All the games are running on 2666mhz??
Yes. RAM - 2666MHz 😕
@@BENCHMARKSFORGAMERS still awesome 😁
can i ask you for the need for speed game ? why your graphic card display 99% while your vram use is only 3300mb ? thanks
Wtf has vram to do with the power usage of the gpu?
vram really only has to do with handling texture quality ect. As you increase the resolution and graphical settings the vram usage will increase. It doesn't have anything to do with how much power the GPU is using. A lot of games that are still pretty popular cant max the vram though a lot of newer games can easily max it but it is a more economical graphics card and its a pretty good value for 1080p gaming and some 1440p gaming.
thank you so much, i wanna play minecraft with this so how muvh fps do you think i will get?
its is compulsory to get expensive mobo for 10400f ? if not can anyone suggest me for streaming uses
do somebody know why I have 70 fps (full low, performance mode)?? In gta I have 100fps on ultra but fortnite is ...
Is it fine with stock cooler and 500w psu for heavy use? Answer please😢🙏
PSU idk, but don't use intel stock cooler plz.
with this i will have the same performance MSI B460M-A PRO ?
Yes
Respect for using 2666MHz ram,i saw a bunch of videos testing 140$ CPU with 250$ MB and like 4000mhz ram...
How did you maintain gpu temp at 60c mine gets to 74c
hey is it safe to increase the clock of cpu to 4.2 or 4.3 with this mobo
Is the pc prebuilt do you know ? When you order it
How much money approximately?? 800$?? I think I will do this combo for my Pc
what brand GPU? its so well cooled optimitzed, inly 57-61c all full load 99-100%
my GeForce has 71-72 with two fans
one really important question !! Can i use the turbo boost technology on i5-10400f with non-Z motherboard ? Becasue i know Z-motherboards are for oveclocking but since this processor is locked i dont need to buy a Z-motherboard and i should go for example with i5-10400f with b460 ?
Yes! Tutbo boost works on all mobod
The best comboo!!!
Will I be able to play with 8gb ram and i3-8100??
I just bought that computer! Super excited to test it this week!
Me too
muy buenas una pregunta con que programa grabaron el juego muchas gracias
Do you use that intel turbo thing where you can get up to 4.2 Ghz ?
it does it automatically
This results are owerclocked results? Or not owerclocked results.
a quick question-I have galax gtx 1660 super with i5 10400f
Is it enough to have a 550w power supply
Also my card goes up to 75 c in full usage is it normal?
@SsemVape cpu cooler works also for gpu ?
hi, wich software you use to display fps stat please?
Msi afterburner
Hey guys, if you are reading this comment. Pls tell me, is intel i5 10400f or ryzen 5 3600 a better cpu when matched with gtx 1660 super? Which combo allows me to get the highest fps in games?
Thanks :D
it about the price in your country , the fps different is just like ~10->15fps to compare with both so just choose the product with the price you want !
like in my country , the i5 is 172$ and the 3600 is 211$ and im just the guy try to make money to live here , so yeah you know what i will choose :)))))
Do you think I could play in 1440p/4k with this setup? IS it worth buying 4k monitor
Also for 1440p gaming id recommend trying to get a 2070 even though its more expensive it will be much more enjoyable and will be able to handle future releases at 1440p for some time versus the 1660 super that will struggle with future releases at 1440p
but its definitely not worth buying a 4k monitor for a 1660 super. If you dont plan on getting a 2080ti or better within the next few years id just stick with a 1440p 144hz monitor
How much frames would you get on modern comp setting?
I love you for this you deserve 1mil subs❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏
Hey bro how do you low cpu usage in rdr2 with i5 10400f mine always at 80%
Whats ur gpu
Lenovo IdeaCentre G5 14IMB05 with rtx 2060 6gb will be better?
Es una buena opción para 1080p y gráficos altos.
Iam struggling with ryzen 5 5600g with GTX 1660 SUPER 16GB RAM bottelnecl and not so smooth really bad
is this pc good for photo and video editing too?
I Can get this used for 490$ But only with 8gb ram, is that good?
I have the exact same specs and my cod runs like shit what did I do wrong like I just don’t even know I added another 8gbs of ram so I have 16 and it still runs like shit my settings are all low I max out at 144 frames but I get hella frame drops
For £800 woild u say this pc is worth it? Thinking of getting it seems a good price for a pre built would probs be cheaper sourcing individual parts and building specifically for my needs but I feel like this is good
Hello. Can someone tell me how to check not just fps, but all parameters (cpu, gpu, their mem and clock etc.)?
In windows 10, ctrl + G. And you will see the game bar with all those options.
Install MSI Afterburner and RTSS ;)
i will receive this build in a week, coming from PS4. IDK if EFT the game worth buying a PC for but i think it worth it.
