The consummate 'garage sound'. Couldn't always pick up WKBW as we lived a mile from a 50K watter on 1500 a mile away. Heard the end of "Rats" in early 2000s when they briefly tried AM oldies. Too bad they were on a directional freq' and only served the northeast. Dick Biondi already on WLS when I started on out-of-towners at night, but Tom Shannon was there.
In the 1950s and 1960s I lived in Utica, NY and as soon as the sun went down I would grab my Channel Master transistor radio tuned to 1520 kcs... The Hound, the crazy Italian {Dick Biondi}, Joey Reynolds, & Tom Shannon... In 1964 I was stationed at the US Naval Station in Gitmo Bay, Cuba; and every once in while the skip would bring KB in loud and clear...
sauquoit13456 People couldn’t record any songs during Joey Reynold’s show because he overrode the last few seconds with “Burn, baby, Burn!” and the sound of fire engines. ... Was it Tom Shannon who played the Master who with the Ghoul ran the late night horror movies?
Greatest song ever written ‼️❤️🔥
I never forgot this song....after all these years !! Was played all the time !!🤣 LOL WKBW-am radio !!
Thanks for the listen. Was broadcast up and down the east coast even as far as Puerto Rico... The big KB...
I have the 45 on my juke box. Buffalo NY rocks!
SWAN: Same label that pressed "She Loves You" (Beatles). Label was located here in Philadelphia.

THIS is proof that you can find ANYTHING on RUclips!
I've had this record since it came out....whenever that was. Maybe 1962? I just found out it was a cover of a song by Leona Anderson.
It must be older than that. A song in public domain since Joey and Danny list themselves at the writers
OLD MEMORIES THE ROYAL ORDER OF THE NIGHT PEOPLE LOL

I love this!!
Officially one of the most annoying novelty records...but I'm laughing
Joe Reynolds and Danny Nevereth, the likely suspects.
