These words are from a pro so please respect it.They know more than us.
he does not mean there's no top laner in lpl right now can win zeus.
he meant that there has not been any rookie top laner in lpl like zeus (lck best top laner) for so many years. (basically means there's no insanely good rookie top laner for years)
(chinese is my mother tongue i totally understand what he meant lol)
and yes this has been an issue within lpl cuz the regulations say pro team cannot sign or approach an player that is younger than 18, not just top lane, all the rookies will have lesser time to learn and grow in an actual pro team than lets say lck. (look at peyz, 17yo and got lck fmvp)
cool. Thanks for the info
Zeus is a different beast given his age too and he already plays like a veteran.
like choking in finals
It's not like he started playing yesterday, he probably is a veteran player, started from a young age. Age alone doesn't mean much, total time played is the most important.

You do realize Koreans and Chineses are different right?
After watching LPL and LCK for a few years, LPL does pump out amazing ADCs every year. I mean Zeus is just built different, but i wouldnt say the rest of the top laners in the LPL are bad they just be good at doing different things. Although maybe Zeus and Kiin are a cut above the rest

What he said is true. Not only top laner, LCK's players are actually the one with better mechanical skills than LPL's overall. I would just give small copium for Chinese, is that their power of teamfighting, although not really a gap, but is on pair with LCK. Aggressiveness, which is coinflippy, is sometimes what helps LPL sees angles of possible teamfights, bold calls and macros. Also for me, that's a reason why T1 is a very special team. They have the blood of aggressiveness, too. (Pardon me if I'm a bit biased of sth)
🤡🫵
@@silent-v1896 ?
aggressiveness is such an underrated stat...it helps to create so much confusion both in fight and on the map that you can beat far better team...teams scare easily - you don't need to be better at all, if you play an aggressive engage with your whole team on one page you need to only scare one member of the opposing team from committing to the play and you have the upper hand - same goes for map play, they won't push as much if they are scared of your jungle pathing strangely - Rookie and the Shy aggression levels can do a LOT, even when ahead some teams will be overprotective of the lead and not capitalise as a result of aggressive plays...it diminishes laning advantages if an enemy is not as coordinated - the shy, hyllisang, the LPL in general have all demonstrated that again and again
gotta disagree with that one. Lpl is known for the mechanical skill that comes naturally with an agressive playstyle, while lck is known for being more controlled/better around objectives and teamfighting
@@ObjectivelyCorrect Nah, let me correct you, LPL is more mindless fighting with no care for potential ganks. Hence, more solo kills stats in LPL. They constantly skill check each other by 1v1 solo kills. They have no proper sense of macro and so if they were to be faced with an LCK team, they would die. Like what you saw last year, T1 and DRX destroyed EDG, RNG and JDG. I agree that the LPL are aggressive, but they are mindlessly aggressive. So you OFTEN see their laners get caught so much frequently.
i think the only match to zeus is bin but will see lol

Maybe what he is talking about is the laning phase of top laners, Zeus is really a top contender for that. But aside from him, i dont think there are other dominant LCK top laners, i know in LPL, 369 can do the same, but his laning phase is heavily influence by their junglers ganks. And with the bot lane meta rn, having Zeus as top laner is realy a blessing for T1, since he is so good playing weak side. I dont say he cannot be gank, but compared to other top laners, he perform way better.
All of this are based on our analysis and understanding, we will know the reality in MSI.
Having 2 teams per region will give us more games and better comparison.

EDG Ale who plays/scrims against LCK and LPL players every week
He's saying LCK but i think he means just T1.
You think wrong then?
I think he is mostly talking about Zeus and possibly Kiin as they are by far the best Toplaners in the LCK... no other Top in the LCK can compare to those 2 so I'd wager Ale is saying that LPL Tops are worse than Zeus and Kiin but probably not worse than say Canna, Doran or Kingen... At least thats my assumption...
But I also think that it's been this way for some years now... the only toplaners from LPL who could consistently match LCK Toplaners in international tournaments were TheShy and 369 and both of them are not playing at the highest level at the moment, so Im not surprised that their best Toplaners are weaker than the LCKs best Toplaners...
I'd say the LPL can match the LCK in any other role, measured by their Topperformers, though its hard to say...
Last season before worlds ADC was contested between Ruler and Viper, which have swapped regions and are still both playing very well and theres also Deft, Guma, Peyz and Aiming for the LCK and Leave, Elk, Light, LP for the LPL so I really can't say which region is more stacked there...
For Mid its equally hard to say, as there are Faker, BDD and Chovy who are all absolutely cracked and even Showmaker played well for the most part, but theres also Knight, Scout, Rookie and Fofo, who are all really good in their own right so again... its hard to say.
There's no doubt in my mind, that Keria is the best Support, but what about everyone else...
Kellin, Lehends and Delight and Meiko, Hang, Missing, Ming... So because of Keria I give it to the LCK, but can't really judge the the rest of them...
For the jungle im leaning towards the LPL, because I think Oner and Peanut are by far the best in the LCK, but the LPL has heavy-weights like Kanavi, Tarzan and Jiejie (who has been playing very well this split) and so I think the LPL has an edge there...
mmm i dont agree particully in mid cuz for the past 2 years lck has showen that their midlaners are in another lvl
@@ahmedyassinzouaoui8257 While you are somewhat right, I also think that the best LPL Midlaners have been very unlucky with their teammates in recent years...
If you talk about the best LPL Mids, then its always Rookie, Knight and Scout, maybe there are some others, but mainly those 3...
And Rookie has been in Elo hell for quite some time now, Scout was on a struggling EDG roster in 2022 (though he definitely was getting schooled by both Faker and Zeka at worlds), but he won worlds in 2021 against both Showmaker and BDD,
and lastly Knight also was kinda getting griefed by his Teammates at worlds 2022
So while I think that, yes LCK Mids have been a bit more succesful internationally, I don't know if you can fully blame it onto the Midlane players, but rather on their environment...
Actually it doesn't really matter to be honest. My point is, that I don't want to rate the Midlaners at the moment without having any absolute data... I think its fair to rate LCK Mids higher though, if you feel like it

People confused with mechanical skills and discipline. Korean are extremely Discipline in terms of macro decision which requires every player to not take risks. Thats why LCK players have better laning phase not because of mechanical skill but discipline. If we look back the beginning of lol championship, LPL adc like weixiao, nami are considered the best adc at the time. Weixiao was top rank adc in Korean server for a very long time when there wasnt single LCK player that can compete. Madlife was the best LCK support at the time and he said Weixiao was the best mechanical player he ever seen and wanted to play with him. He was the first guy average 10 cs per min and winning trade at the same time long before Uzi. This is pure mechanical skill. This is because China dominated Dota for a very long time. Everyone who played dota before knows that Dota rely a lot on individual mechanical skill due to the fact you can deny opponents farm. China is known for mechanical skill in specifically MOBA games but lack of discipline. People who think LCK players have better mechanical skill doesnt really understand the history and concept. China has much longer history and experience in MOBA Esports than Korean. This is not Starcraft. From dota 1 to dota 2, there was also a Chinese version of Dota 1 which was also very popular in China. They have been playing and dominated MOBA way before LOL came out. There are also a lot of other reasons but that would be another long topic. When we talk about MOBA mechanical skill specifically , LPL is definitely equal to LCK if not better. Zeus is considered the best LCK top laner. People probably dont know he actually lost his duel against IG rookie top laner Yskm in a jax vs fiora duel.I am not saying he is better than Zeus and clearly not but we are talking about pure mechanical skill.
