These fees increase results in almost doubling of the adjustment of status filing cost for someone who is also applying for an ead card and travel document. Consequently, we may see dates moving forward by a significant amount in the April visa bulletin. EB1 probably would possibly move forward most.
Just a small clarification My son who went to US on H4 visa, ,got EAD(AOS) after his wife filed I 485 and is working. Should he be worried about the date on his I 94 ?

My distant cousin in Sacramento CA already got his GC and his PD was around Feb 2013. He actually did a refile of entire 140-485 as he was promoted to a manager and still manage to get the GC of all odds. USCIS functioning is really weird. Since the final PD is Jan 2012 it will take a good enough time to get to your date. I would say 2 more years hopefully. Lets just hope that most of the 2012 are processed and allotted lpr which makes your date available some time next year or 2025.

If his EAD is current then it should not be a problem. Please do consult with an attorney to make sure!

You can come on F-1 VIsa and then apply for Green card from Us

It has started to move but the movement is very slow. I would say keep strong and do check if your eligible for EB-1
