Hey Bobby! Idk if you’ll see this but I want you to know that you’re one of my favorite drummers and I’ve drawn so much inspiration from your work. As a 15 year old drummer and a fellow heel toe user I’d like to thank you for your hard work and dedication setting standards for the future of deathcore drumming
Practice & techniques, years & years of hard work paying off in dividends bro. Yet another level of achievement in your drum journey. Much love & respect.
Some drummers like to call it a “Dirk Blast”, the rudiment is called a Swiss triplet and it’s pretty much both hands at the same time, then L R, then both together again, then R L, and repeat!
Bro, u'r a fvcking beast!! 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🔥🔥🔥 Pure fricking shit of hell!! Some weeks ago I saw u guys in Guadalajara City 🔥🔥🤯🤯🤯 simple .... The Swarm blast the place man. Respect🤟🏽😌
It’s all groups of 6, I start with heel up during those fast spurts usually and ride it out with heel down. Not sure why that’s just kind of what my body wants to do, sometimes I have to focus and push through it with heel-up when I’m tired lol but if it works it works!
Love the playthrough and your drumming! I've just started playing drums after playing guitar and writing metal for the past 12 years. Any advice on getting speed up with double bass? It's easy enough to blast beat but I struggle to get up to speed on heel toe. It seems the ankle motion technique is best for me but I do not use triggers. Perhaps this is why I don't like heel toe because it's not loud enough for me without triggers. Do you recommend getting fast loud consistent double bass before starting to use triggers? Or are they basically necessary for heel toe doubles to sound loud enough ? 🤔
2:55 makes me want to practice more and quit at the same time...

I'd love to learn swivel myself, I just don't find heel toe appealing personally, but good on you
Is that an inverted bass drum as an extra floor tom? Brilliant. I would destroy my knuckles on the rim.
Saw yall at Level 13 in Orlando, FL.....killed it
This drumming demigod needs to be protected at all costs. What a talent, what a killer track.

Can't even tall what technique that is around the 4:30 mark. Those bursts are awesome fast and precise. Are you like scuffing that there?
