Almost every other sport has refs that look like the players. I don’t know why the nfl thinks old and overweight refs are the way to go. I doubt their vision is the best, hence why they fuck up so many calls .

This means a forward pass that hits an official is considered incomplete as it's the equivalent of the ball hitting the turf.
