Enjoyed this very much! Love your dough bowl full of smalls, your wall with Christmas stitching and all your current and upcoming stitching projects! Since I’m working 3-4 days a week now (at 63) and since my son’s wife is a private chef who cooks all the time for clients, our “traditional” Christmas meals have become a hodgepodge. She will make extras of what her clients choose and bring. This year hubby wanted to bake a ham. I have to work all day Th, Fri and Christmas Eve til 2 so I can’t get much baking done at all. I’ve learned to relax and not stress. It is what it is, and I really mainly just want everyone to relax and have fun! Thanks for the RUclips! Much enjoyed!
I know how you feel, I like to be stitching on something different than everyone else is doing. I found your you tube about two years ago and I have loved every one of them. Thank you for taking the time to put them on you tube😍
Christie, always love seeing your stitching and quilting! Yes, more often is awesome…just love spending time with you. We are in Texas, and we have barbecue brisket and sausage, potato salad, coke slaw and pinto beans, plus the trimmings. Wishing you and your family a joyous Christmas and a very blessed 2023!
My family does not care for Turkey but, they love my ham and potato casserole. So this has become our favorite Christmas meal. I especially love it because after putting it together it just pops in the oven and cooks for 1.25 hrs. It’s usually served with a Caesar salad. The most laborious part is cubing the 4 thick slices of ham. All the prep is done ahead of time, can be frozen, and pulled straight from the freezer to add a crumbled corn flake & butter topping. It’s a warm and hearty meal! Would love to stitch along with you! Of course we’d love to see you more often! I personally prefer shorter videos because I don’t usually have longer stretches of time to watch the longer videos. I get started, get interrupted and then never get back to finish what I was watching. Merry Christmas!
Love visiting with you. I vote for more often. I connect to flosstubes that are realistic. It’s real life to have ebbs and flows in our stitching. Focusing on perfection, fast, and abundance takes all the fun out of it, for me. I enjoy your easy, relaxed style. ❤
I finally got to squirrel away to my sewing room today to catch up with you! It's always so delightful to have you visit... with lots of stitching or just a bit. Your finishing is just beautiful and the way you decorate belongs in a magazine! I've been holding off on Winter Rose Manor too... it's all kitted ready to go and just sitting there. Maybe your start will push me over the edge! Have a blessed Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your fabulous stitching in 2023!
I would love to see your videos more often, you can also show us your quilting too. Your stitching wall look fabulous and all the decor you showed in the beginning is amazing 🤩 😍 I love all the homemade touches and the vintage pieces. Here in Australia we prepare our meats/salads prior to Christmas Day and have cold meat and salads. It allows us all to sit and enjoy each other’s company and relax. Great stitching and video as always xo
Thankyou for sharing all your stitching with us and always look forward to seeing what you have been working on and your future plans going forward. I would love to see you more often but understand the time it takes especially when you are setting up a new home so we will always be here waiting for you. I also enjoy all the quilts that you sew and would love to see more. Merry christmas to all the family have a great time. XX
YES! We need to see you more often! I love your quilting also. I also enjoy your displays around your house. I understand what you mean by being in the kitchen when you are preparing Christmas dinner. I make a chicken recipe with mushrooms that I have made since my 4 kids were little. Now my kids are grown and married with kids of their own so my house gets really crowded. But they seem to congregate in the kitchen. It is to the point that I can’t move. But I still enjoy all of the noise and Chaos that surrounds me. Enjoy your family and have a very blessed Christmas. I just look so forward to your videos! You are wonderful!
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitching, Kristie! You could film every week and I would watch. You are so pleasant to spend time with and I love all your projects. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and you are enjoying the rest of the holidays. xx, Tricia
Christie, I so enjoy your floss tubes...you have such a gift for stitching and quilting. Your Christmas decorations are stunning ...I just love the Santa mugs! What a great collection! I used to do a champagne ham for Christmas. I cooked and basted it all day long...it made the house smell so good! Now that we're older, it's just the two of us, so we order ribeyes from the butcher and I serve them with baked potatoes and wedge salads! Enjoy your first Christmas in the new home! Hugs, Candace
Your home is just so beautifully styled with your stitching, quilts and collectibles. Thanks for bringing us into your home and sharing with us. I love your choices of projects and I am impressed with your ability to make such good progress. Happy Holidays and enjoy your family!
Merry Christmas Kristie, thank you for another lovely episode. Your finishes are beautiful. Gus and Hazel are adorable..no apologies needed for the sweet snoring. You are one of my favorites, so whenever you have time to share your stitching, I will tune in. Thank you for the inspiration.
I love the Winter Rose Manor chart. We have ham, homemade mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, roasted asparagus, and lemon Jello with cream cheese, crushed pineapple & chopped walnuts.
Christmas dinner for us is a turkey, a ham, potato filling, vegetables, cranberry sauce( the jellied can kind). Dessert is apple pie and pumpkin pie. I put the turkey in an oven bag, the ham goes in the oven. I make the potato filling before and put it in the oven. So not alit if time in the kitchen. This has been the same Christmas dinner our family has done since I was a little girl and I’m 66. So it’s been a tradition for a very long time and according to my mom who is 92 that’s been our dinner for as long as she can remember. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! Enjoy your time with you family!
My brother-in-law smokes brisket and it's amazing!! We love it so much! Thank you for showing us your stitching! I love everything you've finished and are working on!!! ❤❤❤ Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!
Mary Carr made me gasp. How beautiful! I loved seeing your introduction and all of your finished pieces. I make oven fried chicken on Christmas. My family loves it. It’s not hard, but it’s too much for everyday.
Your work is beautiful!! Please post more often- they don’t have to be long. Here’s our new Christmas Eve dinner: glammed-up subway. Meats, cheeses, rolls, salads, choices of mayos and mustards. The kids love making their own, it’s somewhat casual as they want to open gifts.. a win!🎄❤️
My favorite holiday meal that my family requires of me is turkey and dressing, ham, 7 layer salad, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, creamed corn or corn souffle, deviled eggs, and my coconut cream cake. Yum!
Absolutely loved your pictorial intro to your flosstube….so beautiful. I loved seeing your finishes and your wips. It’s always amazing to me the difference between seeing the pattern and the actual stitching….sometimes breathtaking. My Christmas cooking has evolved through the years to easier for the same reason you gave. We have appetizers Christmas Eve and then I make a ham and cheesy potatoes Christmas Day. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Blessings and take care.
Your SAL you did with Lori is stunning! You should never point out your errors because only you know where they are. It looked perfectly placed to me! Your new home is so beautiful and homey! I wish I had the nerve to try linen!
I adore your videos and miss you when you are not posting! I would love to see you anytime and with any amount of stitching! Your cooking/baking makes my mouth water!! Love you!
Have a wonderful Holiday with your family. Thank you for sharing all your stitching. I have ordered my kit& fabric for Brenda's big day. So excited. See you next year!
Love seeing your stitching! I'd love to see Winter Garden published again! The animals make it one of my favorites. The holidays are so busy so I didn't get to see your floss tube quickly. I use a Ham balls in barbecue sauce recipe that everyone loves. It makes lots and can be made in advance and frozen, so it only needs to be warmed up on Christmas. Maybe good with your noodles?
Kristie! Of course we would love to see your beautiful face make the e often! I love all that you do! And your voice is so.soothing to listen to! Oh and your fur babies are just adorable!
My favorite holiday meal for December is a ham, scalloped potatoes and fresh steamed green bean with a salad. It’s just different enough from the Thanksgiving turkey dinner, but still special enough for a holiday meal.
I could watch your videos daily so I'm not a good judge of how often to film. ;) Amazing stitching and pleasant conversation. Favorite holiday meal for my whole family hands down and Grammy's chicken pies. I think she could gift us those and we'd be content. Merry Christmas!
Your videos are beautiful! The way you decorate your home makes it look so warm and cozy, and I want to stitch every piece you show!😃 Thanks for sharing, have a great holiday!
I loved the photos of all of your Christmas decor! So beautiful! Never feel like you have to have a ton of stitching to show. It's nice seeing anything you care to share, no matter how little or how short the video will be. Just do you!😊. You have such beautiful things that you work on. It's a treat to see them! I really like the winter stitching pieces you pulled out as potential starts. They're all gorgeous! Hope this time you'll be happy with the fabric for Winter Rose Manor. I'm not a fan of snow, but when a lot of it falls it makes a good excuse to have some cozy stitching time! Enjoy your Christmas, especially with your son being home!, stay warm, and happy stitching. Oh, and I usually make a ham for Christmas...easy, yummy, crowd pleaser😊
My sister hosts our family for Christmas and we change it up every year. I’ve taken ham & cheese sliders and she’s made soup, we’ve done different charcuterie boards and this year she’s making lasagna. I’m bringing garlic bread and contributing to an antipasto tray. She always has lots of Christmas cookies for dessert. I prefer the shorter floss tubes. So, I would love to see you more often regardless of the amount of your stitching and I love seeing your quilting/sewing, too. 😊 Merry Christmas to you and your family.
We have Italian every Christmas for our big meal. Manicotti Lasagna Salad. The works. We all decided that after Thanksgiving we wanted something different. Winter Rose Manor is definitely on my list for 2023.
You should do your videos whenever the spirit moves you -- always interesting and fun to watch. I think you have the right mixture of what you've stitched, what you've been doing , etc. Love seeing your sampler progress every time. Our favorite Christmas dinner is beef tenderloin with Madeira wine sauce or beef rib roast with roasted potatoes and homemade gravy. I'm sure that whatever you have will be enjoyed by all. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I love everything you stitch. I need to frame my Christmas Garden too. Before my parents died, our family Christmas meal tradition was breakfast. Yes, breakfast! We pulled out all the stops, butter, sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs or sunny side up, orange juice and milk, Texas toast. Any other time during the year, butter was too expensive and we rarely had orange juice but we splurged for Christmas. Nowadays, my daughter, her boyfriend, brothers and I do finger foods like dips, chicken enchiladas, and baked goodies😋and yes, we'd love to see you more often!
I’d love to see you more often but I understand that setting up for filming is also time consuming. You are so inspirational to your followers. Our favorite Christmas dinner is smoked turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, yams with browned marshmallows, green bean casserole, & fruit salad topped with cool whip & marischino cherries. A recipe served by my mom as a family tradition as well as a punch with sherbet floated in ginger ale.
Your house and all your stitching are beautiful. Enjoy your videos soooo much. Would love to see you more often even if we see some of the same things. It’s just fun to see stitching.
We like appetizers for Christmas Eve, My In-Laws make a ham with all the fixings for Christmas Day-but the funnest one is they start up the Fondue Pot on New Year's and have Fondue until my mother-in-law's birthday in mid March. Love your stitching!
Kristie, your intro is jam packed with inspiration. Wow! I loved seeing all of your beautiful decorations. You mentioned not liking to stitch the same things as everyone else. I’m noticing that about myself too. For me, if I start stitching everything I love that everyone else is stitching I get overwhelmed and feel like I need to keep up…. So I buy all the charts of the things you, Carol, Daleen and Olivia stitch and then little by little I chip away at the things that call to me the loudest. Mary Carr went right in my cart today. Not sure when I’ll stitch it but the chart needs to live at my house. ;) Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Well I have switched gears for Christmas with my kids and grands. It is not the same day each year, depending on their other grandparents and the day of the week. I now make several and maybe should say a lot of appetizers in phases between games, gifts, and visiting. Some of the constants are a hot Cajun shrimp, deviled eggs, buffalo chicken cream cheese dip, ham and cheese sliders, shredded pork sandwiches, dried beef dip and chips, cheese and crackers, cowboy caviar, etc. So I have a favorite of everyone that I prep and make throughout the day so there is always something fresh and it is a “graze fest” honestly. Lots of prep and planning but actually pretty easy the day of and everyone gets at least one of their favorites throughout the day. Christmas Day is just my husband and I and is very low key with us and the dogs. I think hearing from you with stitching AND quilting would be awesome Christy. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for such a wonderful holiday video. I love to see all of your stitching. For our holiday celebration we do appetizers. Sometimes we will have chili too. Everyone has their favorite apps like taco dip, bacon wrapped sausages. crab dip, etc. we just grab plates and eat while we open gifts.
You’ve been missed, it was such a joy to see your flosstube! All of your stitching projects are so beautiful! I’m sure you came up with a great menu for Christmas dinner and that it didn’t involve being in the kitchen all day. Ham is usually Christmas Day dinner in my home, sometimes mashed potatoes and gravy or a cheesy potato casserole. I guess it’s not so much what’s on the table as who’s around it. I get so inspired from watching floss tube, so many wonderful projects and ideas. I hope you had the Merriest of Christmases and I wish you a very Happy New Year.
Everything is so beautiful! I just finished Joy and Good Cheer and loved every stitch. This year we are serving smoked prime rib and oven roasted turkey with all the trimmings. Ribs will be on the menu for new year’s. We have a large group that comes so the cooking is definitely shared. Good food, family and stitching…Wishing you all the best this Christmas along with blessings for an amazing new year! ♥️
Traditionally we have prime rib with gravy, baked potatoes, green beans but now we have baked ham just to give us more time to chill and be together. Shrimp cocktail is always a staple and various homemade cookies end the meal. Delicious! I loved seeing your stitches. You get so much done and they are beautiful. Have a Merry Christmas. I hope that you enjoy the time with your son ❤ and his girlfriend.
First time watching your channel and I was blown away by all your wonderful stitching! Wow! I love how much you love cross-stitching. And those beautiful dogs! Ah my heart! For Christmas my favourite is dessert: pavlova with all the traditional trimmings. I look forward to it for the whole year 😂 Looking forward to seeing your next video 😊
So happy to see you again. I love all your finishes and progress on your stitching. Thank you for sharing. I make homemade Lasagna every year for Christmas. My husband is Italian and that was his family tradition and I have carried it on with our family. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and happy and blessed New Year.
Loved all of your stitching! The wall behind you is just gorgeous! I want to stitch everything you showed, lol. Thank you so much for the Autumn Love pattern. I can’t wait to get started on it. Definitely would love to see you more often. Have a Merry Christmas!
I loved seeing all your stitching displayed so beautifully everywhere and thanks for some great ideas for winter stitching. Yes, would always love to see your videos even without much stitching. We do Chinese food on Christmas Eve and then always ham dinner on Christmas Day. Merry Christmas!
Would love to see you more often. You were one of the very first floss tubers I discovered and I'm always so happy when you post something new. Wish you lived next door. I would love some decorating advice. Enjoyed everything you shared. I usually don't do a big meal for Christmas. We have a special brunch of some kind. On Christmas Eve, my daughter and her family are coming, and we are having a warm chicken salad served on croissants per my son-in -law's request. Have a wonderful Holiday!
Your Christmas stitching & decorating is stunning! I love your red & white Christmas tree. We prefer a traditional turkey dinner, but we do just a turkey breast in the crockpot & other shortcuts to make it easy. Winter Rose Manor has been on my wish list & I would love to stitch it. Merry Christmas to you & your family. Hope you get more stitching time in 2023.
After hosting Thanksgiving with approximately 45 people it will be nice to attend Christmas at another family member’s house. So all I was asked to bring was the bread!!! I think we are having a baked ham and a roast with lots of sides from other family members. When we celebrate Christmas with just the kids and our newest granddaughter- they requested Chicken and Sausage gumbo. Being from Louisiana (now living in Texas) it’s a must to have during the winter. I always look forward to see what you are stitching and what your new choice list is. I would love to start a new stitched 🐿️with you ❄️☃️
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Short or long, I always enjoy your videos. Your stitching is beautiful and the framed pieces behind you are just stunning. We had Chinese food this year so that nobody was stuck cooking in the kitchen all day.
For Christmas my family wants a brown sugar glazed ham, cheesy potatoes. cooked carrots and a mixed greens salad. Can not forget the cresten rolls. My children also have their favorite cookies and even a cookie request from my daughters boy friend. Here in Minnesota we have snow and more snow. The tree branches have been covered with snow for the last week, way to much snow and now very cold temps. All of your stitching is beautiful and I look forward to your video. Wishing you and your family a wonderful, blessed Christmas.
I’ve just found your flosstube. What fabulous work and such lovely charts to choose from for your next WIP. I’m in England so, obviously, the best Christmas meal is turkey with all the trimmings. Thanks for the work you have clearly put in to this video.
Love all your Christmas decorations and Christmas stitching. I used to make baked ham but as the family got older we opted for appetizers and desserts. We pick for several hours, open presents then clean up and start on the desserts and coffee. Happy holidays!
On Christmas Eve I make a ham with scalloped potatoes and Scandinavian meat balls I have eaten this every Christmas Eve of my life yum, I love your floss tube totally enjoy watching you
Thank you for your flosstube. I always enjoy watching. My favorite holiday meal is turkey mash potatoes candied yams green bean casserole gravy and stuffing. I hope your new year is the best.
I'm making a ham, twice baked potatoes, some kind of vegetable, and strawberry jello. For dessert I make up a plate of homemade goodies I've baked and frozen over the past few weeks. I make them wait on the cookies til I've made up and delivered goodie plates to friends and neighbors! I always look forward to your flosstube videos. Your style and earthy colors are mine too. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
I have been binge watching you for the past week and love everything you do! We have 2 Christmases since my husband and I have kids that are young 11yo, 8yo and 7yo. My mother in law usually does the turkey dinner on Christmas Eve, my mom does a buffet style spread and this year it was Spaghetti, green beans, garlic toast, and salad. I have had my eye on Winter Rose Manor and would love to stitch it! We live in a rambler style farmhouse on 1.5 acres. We have two 100ft gardens and a chicken coop (11 hens) 3 house cats and a black lab, plus goldfish in our water feature. I feel like we would be best friends! Sending love from Minnesota!
Christie, I love all your videos and your beautiful stitching. I appreciate the pointer on using a red basting stitch before finishing small pillows to keep them straight! Merry Christmas!
This Christmas instead of a group of 35, it was just 4 of us. I fixed pork tenderloin, potatoes, and carrots! Delicious! We made the best of an unfortunate situation!❤️🪡🎅🏻🎄🤶🏻🦌
Thank you for sharing your beautiful stitching with us. Your wall of Christmas and winter needlework inspires me to do the same and Winter Rose Manor would be a great piece to begin with. I normally cook turkey for Christmas, but this year I am making chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Beef Wellington, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, poached pears in puff pastry with caramel drizzle. I do prep work day or two ahead so Christmas Day is more relaxed. I set the table days before as well. So excited to see your post. You are a joy to watch 😍
Uuh your tree is beautiful. Great finishes! I feel the same way.... when everyone is stitching a chart I don't want to. Glad you're all settled in and can hunker down for the winter with your stitching. Happy Holidays
We never seem to have the same thing twice at Christmas. This year, I am making chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes and green beans. Nothing too stressful. I hope you have a lovely Christmas with your family. Beth
Great to see you again! Winter Rose Manor would be great to make. I bought the frame from Hobby Lobby last year when everyone was doing that, but I haven't bought the pattern yet. Our Christmas lunch this year will be a taco bar. One year I asked the kids what they wanted me to make for Christmas treats and meals, and found out that everyone cared a whole lot less about that than I assumed, so I cut back drastically on all the cooking and enjoy Christmas a lot more as a result. Hope you gave a great one, whatever you decide on!
My family has opted for a variety of meals on Christmas Eve (my entertainment day). I make baked stuffed shrimp (from the cold New England waters), stuffies calamari and antipasto. Other times it’s Polish food that I picked up from a cousin now passed. Baked ham, pierogies, vegetables and applesauce. The one requirement is I throw in my mother’s baked mac and cheese the French way which is my family’s favorite. I love all of Brenda Gervais and Winter Rose Manor. I’ve come back to cross stitch recently after years of quilting (that I still love). I love your videos. You are so charming. ❤ Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones! 🎄🥰🎅🏻
Seeing all the fun things that you’re working on and all your fun projects that you are looking forward to working on. Some of the winter things that you had picked out I have also that I think would be so fun to work on them. We usually have prime rib and green bean casserole garden salad. Hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas and looking forward to seeing more of your floss tubes after the holiday. I love to see whatever you’re working on even if you just have a few things.
It was good to see you this week! All your Christmas stitching is beautiful ! We are moving in 3 months so I'm dreading all the moving boxes but looked forward to having a new house to decorate! We usually eat ham and I make home made scalloped potatoes .... and my husbands grandmas cranberry salad. Have a blessed Christmas !
Do you back your linen and fabric (on little pillows) with SF101? That would keep your stitching from going wonky. Also gives it a firmer less bumpy look. Your stitching and projects are gorgeous! We’re having ham on buns (with hot mustard and lettuce), augratin potatoes, glorified pepe de acini, German chocolate cake (my husband’s birthday is Christmas Day). Keeping it more simple this year. 😊
We used to have scalloped oysters as a side dish at Christmas. My husband never got a large serving. Now that we are older and the family has dwindled I make this as our main dish and he can have all he wants. I have always wanted to stitch Winter Rose Manor. I would love more videos even with less stitching. You are so inspiring. Could you include some pictures of the arrangements in your new house? I would like to see your sewing room and your stitching chair and setup. Merry Christmas.
Our holiday dinner we look forward to every year is fresh tamales on Christmas Eve. They are easy to warm up after we all go to church for a Christmas Eve service. We look forward to it every year!
Beautiful home! Have been following you for sometimes and I’m a new stitcher watching your flosstube from 🇸🇬 Singapore, neighbour to Australia 🇦🇺 😊 but I hardly comment. it doesn’t matter how much do you show, how much are your stitching done, love seeing your video, have a little chat here and there, most important is you must enjoy doing it, for yourself not for others. I don’t have traditional Christmas meals, I live in a multicultural, multi races country, we celebrates and sharing all festivals here. It’s not very different from the west, we do what we love for the food from roast chicken to turkeys, beef and veal, and desserts, nice panettone, nice wine, we are one of the first world country, we have everything here. I’ll be stitching Winter Rose Manor, Autumn Love and Christmas Village too! Looking forward to those stitching! Wishing you a very happy Merry Christmas and a wonderful year ahead! And Many many videos 😆 hugs
My favorite holiday meal for Christmas is prime rib and mashed potatoes. Best part is son-in-law prepares the prime rib. Turkey for thanksgiving. Love your cross stitch patterns. I live in rural west Nebraska so it’s like shopping. Merry Christmas!
I loved all your stitching and new home. Your little dogs are absolutely adorable! Our Christmas meals are a little unorthodox, because nobody wants to be in the kitchen all day and certainly didn’t want to clean up too. Of course no one else wants to clean up either! So on Christmas Eve we always have a chick-fi-la nugget tray and then we all make our favorite sides and deserts. Everybody loves it and the little ones are delighted. On Christmas Day we eat soup(s) Usually ones the you can cook in crock pot. And there’s a vegetable tray and cheese and crackers, rolls. Easy cleanup, eat as much as you want. Everybody gets to spend time with each other and play with toys. Not your typical Christmas Dinner but it works for us! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
Your stitching and Christmas decorations are just lovely. We always have turkey but we also do pot luck for all the other side dishes. That way whoever hosts only has the turkey to cook and can spend time with the rest of the family. Merry Christmas!
Your introduction was beautiful! Everything is decorated so nicely. I always get excited when you put out a new stitching or quilt video because I love all the same pieces as you. Merry Christmas. We have seafood for Christmas lunch v
All of your pieces are just beautiful but I got excited when I saw Rudolph and Friends because I was working on mine as I watched, I’m almost finished and will be making into a pillow also, it’s just so cute, I’ve loved stitching it. Thanks for sharing your pieces. I love that Christmas sampler, I want to stitch that soon. Merry Christmas!
Watched this earlier but didn't get a comment done. It was lovely & I was so happy to see you again! Your Christmas stitching, decorating etc. so beautiful! Thank you & Merry Christmas!
Christy, your stitching is so beautiful! I’m a few days late responding but on Christmas Eve (I’m first generation Italian) we don’t eat meat, traditionally. We eat fish, until after midnight mass. On Christmas Day we use to have a feast of everything! Too much. Soup, cutlets, pasta, sausage, peppers etc… these days, I will make stuffed shells or lasagna, cutlets, salad and a vegetable (broccoli rabe). So next year you may want to whip up a tray of lasagna. It’s the best because that and/or the shells can be prepared ahead of time. I love the pattern Christmas at Rosewood manor, my mother’s name was Rose (Rosina). She passed at Christmas time 5 years ago so anything with the word/name Rose in it, I love to stitch! I think this will be on my to stitch list! Enjoy your son’s homecoming!! Please stay well, and have a wonderful stitch filled New Year!🎄🎄💕
Enjoyed this very much!
Oh thank you so much, that truly means a lot to me!
Why do I watch your videos? Your eyes fill with joy why you talk about your stitching. Thank you for sharing your love of stitching!❤️
Oh thank you!
What a sweet gift from Cindy C, so thoughtful.
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful stitching, Kristie! You could film every week and I would watch. You are so pleasant to spend time with and I love all your projects. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and you are enjoying the rest of the holidays. xx, Tricia
Hi Kristie, so happy to hear from you! We fixed ribs, coleslaw, & rolls. It was low-key and wonderful. Your stitching is so amazing and a joy to see.
Great video Christie, and loved your Intro and music, love your stitching projects,Merry Christmas 🎄 Thankyou for sharing 👍🇳🇿🪡🎄❤️
More often I always love it when I see you have posted a new one....your pieces we just lovely 😍
Rudolf and Friends is adorable, I am adding that to my list.
Yuletide Welcome is a beauty and so is Christmas Garden. I can’t wait to see your Samplar Wall.
So wonderful to see a fresh video from you!! Please do the pace that is authentic to you! Another session capturing awesome work! Thank you!!
Always love to see what you’re stitching. My favorite part of the holiday menu is pecan pie.
Christy, your stitching is so gorgeous and entertaining. I personally, would love to see more of you. Happy holidays to you and you family.
I finally got to watch your video. Such beautiful finishes!! I do love "smalls". Congrats on your new home. The decor is lovely.
I am always so thrilled when I see you’ve posted a video, and would love to see you more!
I would love to start a new stitched 🐿️with you ❄️☃️
IWe ALWAYS have prawn cocktails, cold Turkey and salad , it’s always the same and always delicious and devoured
Love your work! My husband does an awesome brisket that we all love for Christmas. It's definitely a labor of love!
Beautiful work, loved seeing all your pieces. Prime Rib is our tradition and sometimes tamales.
I would love to see more frequent videos!! everything you stitch is beautiful, and I would love to see it more often.
Always love to watch your videos. You are so sweet. Beautiful job decorating and hope you are loving your new house and neighbors.
My favorite holiday meal is home made clam chowder on Christmas Eve! Love the winter rose manor.
We have turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potato casserole. Yummy!
Every year we make homemade pizzas for Christmas and set out a ton of toppings and everyone creates their own special pizza. It’s easy and fun!!
Thank you so much for the recommendation of doing a running stitch on the linen before sewing into a pillow, will definitely try that.😊Stephanie
Enjoy all your work! You are the sampler queen. Yes more videos please. Traditional favorite is pecan and sweet potato pie during Christmas 🎄
I’m a few days late responding
but on Christmas Eve (I’m first generation Italian) we don’t eat meat, traditionally. We eat fish, until after midnight mass. On Christmas Day we use to have a feast of everything! Too
much. Soup, cutlets, pasta, sausage, peppers etc… these days, I will make stuffed
shells or lasagna, cutlets, salad and a vegetable (broccoli rabe). So next year you may want to whip up a
tray of lasagna.
