I really enjoy watching your videos. You are so positive and uplifting. I needed a visit with with a friend today, and l feel that you were that today. Iam 68 and all but one of my old friends has passed. The last one lives in Provo. We were roommates at BYU in the mid 1970's. It seems like yesterday!! Our bodies grow old but within our minds we stay the same. I am so glad for x-stitching and Floss Tube. Keep up the stitching!!!!

Hello there. Brenda from Brenda and serial starter - Laura, mentioned you were the best floss tube on and I knew I needed to watch as a stitcher new to floss tube. This is a great floss tube video of all your accomplished projects and plans for new ones. I have some of the same patterns, love everything Brenda Gervais gives us for stitching happiness. I am glad you are recovering from eye surgery, I had eye surgery years ago and totally understand the scariness of it all. I have been a monogamous stitcher and from watching floss tubes; felt bad that I don't have tons of WIPS and new starts however I like finishing my project. I am going to take several of the ideas you have shared along with others and try to mix it up. I like the Sunday stitching devoted to a big project, and then some rotation of new starts to break it up. I have a large stash and have decided to give myself grace in the moment for having so many however my intention is to stitch them all - right! Lol Also, I would like to be in the drawing for Oh Joyous Day! Take care of your self and enjoy your day!

Hi!! I have just found you (after watching one of Lori Holt's videos, where she mentioned you) and I'm so glad I did! I can't wait to watch more videos that I saw on your RUclips channel. I so enjoyed your easy-going style and I wrote down lots of the samplers you featured. I used to do cross stitch years ago but after getting into quilting I kind of put it to the side. But recently I have been inspired by several beautiful patterns and videos (like yours!) and I can't wait to get back into it! I also loved the happy mail you talked about - it's good to see new tools and helps! Anyways, I'm just so glad I found your channel and will tell my daughter (I know she'll appreciate it) also! One of the things I wanted to tell you was that I so appreciated watching your video without ads!! So often I'm watching a video and there are ads every 5-7 minutes. It gets a little distracting. Yay! I’m always excited to see your FlossTubes! You are one of my favorites. I’m glad that you and your family are doing better. After watching your video I watched Brenda and the Serial Starter. Boy did you get them going. Lol! But you are so right, so many squirrels and not enough time. I’m also trying to calm myself and stick with the project at hand. I made a goal this year to finish most of my WIPs and stitch a Season ahead. So far so good. But Needlework Market almost put me over the edge! So many beautiful patterns and cute fun ones too! You are such an inspiration to me!!! Love ALL of your projects! I really try to stitch one piece at a time, and currently limit myself to a daytime stitch (small or medium) or quilt project, and a night time stitch (large piece). Heritage Sampler calls my name. Just beautiful!
Loved your floss tube today. The bird in the pinch shook is called a third hand bird and clamp. It's used when you need a way to hold your fabric in place while you use your hands to do the work. An example might be when you need to rip out a seam and you need two hands to use these an ripper and hold one side of the fabric, but need something to hold the other side of the fabric so you can see your stitches. Does the make sense? Lori Holt may be able to explain it better. Keep up the good work. I love seeing all of your accomplishments.😀

Lovely episode! I love all of your finishes, WIPS and plans. We have a couple of big girls in common- Dutch Beauty and His Eye is on the Sparrow. I started His Eye is on the Sparrow in 2014 when it first came out. I stitched the entire border, got all the way around, and realized I was 1 stitch off. I put it away, and agonized over whether to try to work around the error, or to rip it out and get it right. I finally got it out and ripped out back to where I made the mistake. It is now back in my rotation. I had Dutch Beauty kitted for @ 15 years, when I mentioned that in a comment to Susan Standley, she urged me to get it started, as and join the SAL. So, I started it on Easter Sunday, it is my Sunday project. Love Heritage Sampler! Hope you enjoy the rest of your spring!

Hi!! I have just found you (after watching one of Lori Holt's videos, where she mentioned you) and I'm so glad I did! I can't wait to watch more videos that I saw on your RUclips channel. I so enjoyed your easy-going style and I wrote down lots of the samplers you featured. I used to do cross stitch years ago but after getting into quilting I kind of put it to the side. But recently I have been inspired by several beautiful patterns and videos (like yours!) and I can't wait to get back into it! I also loved the happy mail you talked about - it's good to see new tools and helps! Anyways, I'm just so glad I found your channel and will tell my daughter (I know she'll appreciate it) also! One of the things I wanted to tell you was that I so appreciated watching your video without ads!! So often I'm watching a video and there are ads every 5-7 minutes. It gets a little distracting. Yay! I’m always excited to see your FlossTubes! You are one of my favorites. I’m glad that you and your family are doing better. After watching your video I watched Brenda and the Serial Starter. Boy did you get them going. Lol! But you are so right, so many squirrels and not enough time. I’m also trying to calm myself and stick with the project at hand. I made a goal this year to finish most of my WIPs and stitch a Season ahead. So far so good. But Needlework Market almost put me over the edge! So many beautiful patterns and cute fun ones too! You are such an inspiration to me!!! Love ALL of your projects! I really try to stitch one piece at a time, and currently limit myself to a daytime stitch (small or medium) or quilt project, and a night time stitch (large piece). Heritage Sampler calls my name. Just beautiful!
Loved your floss tube today. The bird in the pinch shook is called a third hand bird and clamp. It's used when you need a way to hold your fabric in place while you use your hands to do the work. An example might be when you need to rip out a seam and you need two hands to use these an ripper and hold one side of the fabric, but need something to hold the other side of the fabric so you can see your stitches. Does the make sense? Lori Holt may be able to explain it better. Keep up the good work. I love seeing all of your accomplishments.😀

Lovely episode! I love all of your finishes, WIPS and plans. We have a couple of big girls in common- Dutch Beauty and His Eye is on the Sparrow. I started His Eye is on the Sparrow in 2014 when it first came out. I stitched the entire border, got all the way around, and realized I was 1 stitch off. I put it away, and agonized over whether to try to work around the error, or to rip it out and get it right. I finally got it out and ripped out back to where I made the mistake. It is now back in my rotation. I had Dutch Beauty kitted for @ 15 years, when I mentioned that in a comment to Susan Standley, she urged me to get it started, as and join the SAL. So, I started it on Easter Sunday, it is my Sunday project. Love Heritage Sampler! Hope you enjoy the rest of your spring!
