Thank-you Master Wong! I see a lot of negative comments here and I wonder if you don't like the material why not change the channel? This guy is working hard to help people train so show a little appreciation.

Great lesson Master Wong. I recently started taking local Wing Chun classes here in my home but I'm continuing to use your lessons as strong supplements of classes or additional lessons to my classes...if you come out to N.M. I will gladly attend your seminar. I enjoy these videos.

Parry & grab use his strength and forward motion against him by directing his force to the ground with slight push he goes face first and trip as he goes by your body, with out need of hitting even one time to avoid the battle, if he tries again because he knows how to protect in his fall then go in with strikes to put him out of the fight hard and fast, this is done in defensive mode letting the attacker attack your defense then in counter attack with force to stop the fight all together ! I have use this as a security guard when I was just controlling attacker ! but did not have do any thing else for he landed on his face nose bleed and watery eye did not what to try attacking any more !...

Very thoughtful lesson, with contingency plans and counters consideration. A lot more than what I can say about most other videos and teachers I could find on youtube. Wong, I personally don't give a crap who your master is, or if you even ever had one, and that you don't fight MMA or whatever, you're clearly a very talented, fast, and brutal martial artist. I'd love to train with you one on one. Maybe someday.

Hi Master Wong. Just curious, when you do a tan sao against a straight punch, do you move back bit or move forward and to the side? Or does it depend on the opponent's energy and momentum? Thanks.

I believe the respect to the culture is part of the theory that says "always practice control". Control, associated with peace, respect and patience, are important to clear one's mind of distractions during combat (and life) and capture/process more variables without interference of thoughts, judgment and other pre-programmed interferences. You can understand that for yourself if you medidate in silence and process the Bushidou's idea of frugality.
So if you don't respect the name of the martial arts' moves developed by respectfull men, don't mind if some people don't respect you either.
By the way, you don't need to look cool or get people's respect, you just need to get respect from yourself. If you accept that, you'll probably respect things automatically, btw.
Don't forget the principles of the good things. They may save you when you face dark times.
