My father passed away this past week- his name was Matthew and he was very strong in his faith. It’s been a terrible past week for me and my family (I’m 18 and I have a twin sister and an older sister), especially with his funeral yesterday. This just randomly came up on my recommended while I was looking for something to try and fall asleep (which is a crazy coincidence) to since I keep thinking about him and his passing. I know that he’s watching over me right now and smiling down at me. Thank you for what you do ❤️

The unsettling energy in my space and the thoughts that wake me through nightmares don’t come back when I wake again for the day. Thank you for spreading His word and making it available in this form for those like me, seeking comfort and peace, but needing God rather than a sensation of relax. These days other asmr doesn’t do it anymore, my spirit has been so starved of guidance. Thank you.

@Tatia T I personally believe that the Old Testament still holds just as much beauty and value, because it’s where the law is. Jesus didn’t get rid of that, but he made a way through the sacrifices and all of that and I think that’s truly amazing.

I used to have really bad depression and an anxiety disorder and I was terrified that I was going to go to hell, and then someone told me that God wasn’t trying to trip me up but wanted to look after me. the Lord loves you, tell him how you feel in prayer, I’m sure he will give you peace :).

It makes me so sad that Jesus went through such horrible things. What a genuine and kind and loving being who came here and healed and saved over and over again and taught so many. In the end it was fulfilled. How it must have felt to know you were betrayed by your friend and by many people. But the prophecy had to be fulfilled. I love Jesus for his pain and sacrifice and the blood He shed for the sins of all of us!
I feel that. How intense His love for us was, it always eventually turns my sadness into love and gratitude. It is said that Judas is the saddest soul in Hell.

I used to be an atheist, now I’m not sure if I want to follow any religions or not. Bible ASMR is more effective than 99% of other ASMRs to help me sleep and almost always gets me to sleep within an hour (I have horrible insomnia and will still wake up feeling trashed after 12 hours of sleep; if I can even get to sleep)

The funniest sayings in the Bible that I have found is “Far be it from from You oh Lord….” Matt 16:22 Peter saying this. It’s as if The Lord is SAYING SOMETHING THATS GOING TO HAPPEN(because He said it so it will happen). And someone like Peter goes “NO!! THIS AIN’T GOING TO HAPPEN JESUS!!” I love Peter and glad God uses him as an example that even when we mess up He can still use us for good. And Jesus told him that “I will build my church on you.” Matt 16:17-19.
