I know that this is a bit older video, but you perfectly summed everything. TBH, i dont think this is outdated at all. The only thing that changed across the year is jav meta-which is the best anti-flame unit, so you gotta watch out a bit more. I must say tho that javs travel pretty slow, so you technically can dodge them- thanks to the great mobility of the unit. There is alot of shields/ "blobby" units in the game now- MAA, Imp spears, which flamers are the best counter for. I like how aggresive you play them, i tried this playstyle too and works great for me. You can 1V1 units , such as Palace guards, men at arms thanks to the CC of the flame, which is the most important thing about this unit.

It's outdated mainly because of the changes to the siphos, 2 seasons back, if you aim it right, you can shoot and cover up to 30m of distance.
They changed it so they can only hit up to 18m, which is a huge nerf in this guide, which mainly shows how to aim up to 30m, which is the huge advantage.
Now that they nerfed the range, with cc immune maul spin, cc immune epic schematic poleaxe, yyd, and all that kind of shit, it extremely difficult and limited the use of siphonariori in the meta. I rather take a coconut and spam V against an infantry blobs now
