okay but BOTH of these men are phenomenal hair gurus. I feel like both are going to tell it like it is either way and you’re going to get a bang for your buck. Girl idk! Travelle is dream for me, but Narada is truly an analyst. Flip a coin, idk! 😂
I've been taking your hair tips since september now, and i just want to say, you're amazing🥹🥹 i just finished installing mini twists on my hair, and even my family is noticing how much my hair has grown! It's more manageable, and I've learnt how to properly care for my hair ever since i was little. My hair stuggled to grow, but now it's growing like crazy! Thank you so much😊😊
I’m so excited for you! I can’t wait to get my trim and start this process too girl! I’m just touching waist length hair and the goal is tail bone and longer. I agree oiling the hair/ends really changes things
I think your hair would thrive after Narada's appointment. I cut off 4 to 5 inches 15th February my hair was severely damaged because of anemia. It has grown and recently I cut off half of an inch. I need to go back to my hairstylist and see what my hair looks like straight. Wishing you the best on your hair growth journey ❣️
My hair is the same way. The more I do to it the more split ends I get . If I leave her alone and keep it in twists with water, conditioner or just oil it grows!!!! I just untwist in the AM and go. I blow dry maybe twice a year or flat iron. My hair is 18inches in twist outs and 24inches when flat iron. Water is a must when adding moisture I hope this long message helps like the video because her method is working greatly!
Both professionals are amazing. If you wanted a trim that will keep your hair healthy for that duration of the silk press and in it's natural state; and for the majority of the year; I think I would decide to go to Narada though
I've never gotten a silk press, so I'm excited to see how it goes! Your hair is look so LUSH and I'm sure you'll be to tailbone length in no time. You've actually inspired me to do small/medium (shmedium?) plaits once I finish taking my locs out - there's not a lot of fine -hair naturals, and my hair tends to get tangled in twists after a week, so plaits would be ideal. And your husband is sweet to check on you! I hope that you feel better soon if you haven't already
@@kwest1401 yea, bae is very caring ☺️😌 I’m feeling much better now, thanks! How long have you had the locs!? I bet they’re gorgeous! Idk what size these are cause the thickness is giving small but the parts are giving slightly large medium lol
I say go to Narada btw not sure he does silk presses. But go anyway so you can really see if your methods are working. I plan to visit him in the spring. Would love to see the video of him doing your hair and assessing.
@@ebonybyrd3369 I thought for sure he did 😫😫 but you’re right! it would be a good thing to get a different set of eyes to see if I need to tweak anything
I’ve been a subscriber for about three months now. I know you are caring for your hair for tailbone length and revert heat damage. I also heard you say you might want to be a heat-trained natural in previous videos. To pick a stylist in February 2025 who will help you get your heat-damaged hair back to normal? Who will be able to give you a proper trim without being scissor-happy? Who will give you great guidance to reach your goal this upcoming year? Who gave you the heat damage in the past? Idk that’s just a few things I would think about when picking a stylist.
@@Lacavadoe these are all great questions to consider!!! I’ll def factor this in when I decide. Idk about being a straight hair natural anymore. The drying process sucks moisture from my scalp and leaves my hair so dryyy 😫😫 and since I like to shampoo weekly, not sure the health of my hair if I add heat every week.. idk about that anymore
@@SharatiaBanks I’m located in dc. But I’m willing to take the trip simply because the education is worth it. He will get you to your goals and ensure your hair is healthy from root to tip. But I wish I would have went to him to get a full assessment. I know he be booked and busyyyy.
You’ve inspired me to wear plaits as my main protective style! Do you have any advice on how to grow a particular area of your hair? For example, my hair is layered. The back is bra strap length but the front is about collar bone length. I want them to match up more aside form just chopping the back to be the same length as the front
@@miss.3175 honored to be an inspiration 🥹🫶🏾 well, since your hair is gonna grow at different lengths, you can cut the back little by little (the Tiniest amount) so the front can catch up with the back orrrrr you can let it grow out naturally and THEN even it out… I had mad layers cause I did a wolf cut. Eventually it grow out naturally
Please go to Travelle and ask him to analysis your hair. Or better still go to cosmetologist for a real deep dive into your scalp and hair health. Cosmetologists will give you scientific facts while hairdressers will give you a more "on the surface" analysis.
@@LivingInTheShade ooooooh! So a cosmetologist can be a hairdresser but a hairdresser is not a cosmetologist? I thought they can do the same thing. But that makes sense cause a hair dresser would tell us to see à trichologist for certain things lol good idea guh! Thanks🙏🏾🫶🏾
@@SharatiaBanks Yes that's right. I only recently realised what the difference is. Many hairdressers knowledge is limited. Cosmetologist can look at your scalp under a microscope, analysis your hair again under a microscope, test your blood for deficiencies. I've seen one lady on yt with no edges and they helped her grow her hair back with prp. I think of it as hairdressers are cosmetic and cosmetologists as scientific.
