Remnant 2 is the sequel to the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes that pits survivors of humanity against new deadly creatures and god-like bosses across terrifying worlds. Play solo or co-op with two other friends to explore the depths of the unknown to stop an evil from destroying reality itself. To succeed, players will need to rely on their own skills and those of their team to overcome the toughest challenges and to stave off humanity’s extinction.

Glad to see that it hasn't strayed too far from the original, while still looking a lot better overall. Everything I see on this gets me more and more excited. Boss fight looks like it'll be a lot of fun too, can't wait for it all!

Gonna be lot like tiny tina Wonderland now tho.. gameplay wise mods are tied to class sadly
the melee animations are super fluid too, everything is just like remnant 1 but more polished and they dont change what was done well
the random story seems interesting too

The dog's hp bar being the exact same as enemies hopefully changes.
I'm so excited, this game had insane enemy designs, the first game was phenomenal.
I hope this will bring more people to the series.
These are the type of studios ppl need to back up, stop buying all the repetitive games full bugs every year, instead support people who want to innovate and create fresh experiences.

This game looks like a remaster of a game from 2008 or something...Mediocre level design, mediocre character design, mediocre animations, mediocre graphics, typical 3rd person shooter gameplay. Is this a sarcasm? Generic is the best word here

@@miavelvet while i disagree with you, you also aren’t wrong. the visual fidelity is definitely a result of the devs being a smaller studio, but both remnants 1 and 2 are building off of the world of chronos, their first game where they were a really small team, so assets were reused to save development time hence that dated look.
remnant 1 was a pretty fresh experience albeit capitalized quite heavy on the success of dark souls. it might have been the first mainstream dark souls shooter, made even better by the coop feature that allowed players to play cooperatively from start to finish (which i think was rare at the time and is also pretty uncommon now), compound with the fact that you can coop with your friend, then invite your friend to your world, and effectively play 2 different experiences, with different challenges, quests, bosses and weapons. just to say that remnant 1 was, while not a perfect game, really interesting and fun to play, and felt like a fresh experience even though i’d played hundreds of tps
that being said, remnant 2 looks to be more of the same. i don’t understand where the innovations come from. remnant 2 doesn’t look to be a fresh experience, but it has to live up to the expectations of the prequel’s fanbase. i dunno yet why i should play full price for remnant 2 while i could just play remnant 1, which already feels like a complete game that doesn’t need a sequel.
Looking like a more refined version of the first game, and I’m totally down for that. I see some people who clearly didn’t play the first game saying it just looks like generic third person shooter, but Remnant’s feel, higher difficulty, and randomization really do set it apart.

Same. I have no friends but the online multiplayer literally provided me with friends now. I absolutely love the multiplayer free-play system. Randomly drop in and co-op
Looks like the Root finally found Yaesha, it'll be interesting to see what other locations they've taken over.
I’m really excited for this game. Played the first one with my friends and it was really fun. So here’s hoping this one is just as fun.

When I first played from the ashes I was hoping for a second one and now since there is one coming out I get wait to play it
Y'all complaining about this game need help. The problem is y'all keep expecting so much from a game and at the end of the day, it ruins the gaming experience. This game is worth every bit of the money. Overall great game.
Looks super solid, hopefully we can get more dlc content this time, I really loved the first one, 2 lvl 1000 characters, I recommend it to all my friends

One huge QOL fix I'd like to request: Could you change the color of your pet companion's health bar? Some people might see the red bar, not look too closely at the enemy under them, and then dump a whole magazine into their beloved doggo to no effect (or worse, if friendly fire is enabled).

The first game is such a hidden gem. All they need to do with this one is refine what made the previous good. I hope they don't make any wild alterations to the core gameplay. But by the looks of it, that's not the case, thankfully.

The first or the second cause the first game actually is chronos before the ashes thus is technically the 3rd game
I do noticed the character running movements especially when turning looks alittle wacky but I'm sure its only an beginning stage everything gonna look way better in the final stage.
Remnant 1 is one of my favorite games of all time. Very very excited for this.

I am just glad epic games gave away the 1st one for free some time ago and got introduced to this great experience that now got a sequel cause otherwise i would never even hear of it...such an underrated game

currently playing remnant 1 and I really hope melee gets fleshed out more in remnant 2 cause unfortunately its really not that viable currently which is really sad but im still having a blast

the dragonheart heal icon should be next to the healthbar. so you dont have to check two positions on the screen before deciding to heal during tense combat....

I played about 145 hours of From the Ashes and loved it. It was buggy other than that it was fine. This new one looks sharper, thanks to the Devs for bringing this to us true fans. I’m starting to quickly forget about The Day Before

Imagine a 3 player team with 3 dogs all together like this. Loved the first game. be awesome if we can customise the dog as well. I'm sure we'll be able to give them new abilities at least!
I think you can only use the dog when playing singleplayer

Ive always seen the first one more like an arpg. I thinks souls like is for the dodge stamina mechanic
The dog's red health bar mixed in with the enemies' red health bar is a mess...in chaos and low lighted combat your dog is almost indistinguishable from an enemy. Changing the health bar blue or green would have solved that issue.
they gotta change that dogs health bar to green otherwise I'm gonna be lighting him up every 2mins haha

What systems is this game for?
I was super hyped for pew pew souls so I bought this game when it first came out, I passed it a few times before they decided to split the game up into dlcs and make you pay for them. My friends got the game on sale and we were all going to play, when I went to use one of my characters to help them I didn't have any at all. I was getting notifications saying my saved data couldn't be uploaded, I still do to this day. Saw that all my time and work was gone, seen that the game was split into separate dlcs you had to buy now. I put the game down and never picked it back up.

Wish they added hip firing instead of only being able to aim down sights like the first game.
If this game gets better and deeper generated maps, and ray-traced really good visuals it is a pre-order for me... Gameplay can stay the same, it was great already :)
I hope they change the coop in this game. Everyone should scale/match the level of the host.

I really enjoyed the first game, wish my pc could handle the second.
Is it me or the shooting looks less punchy and the enemies rely more on precanned death animation instead of being immediately ragdolled, there is something off that i can't define, maybe i just don't remember how the gunplay looked in the first one, but i feel that there is something off...
doggo is the selling point, plus add more automatic rifle with 600 to 1000 rpm and we good

how are hellmod users ever going to be able to go back to only 4 enemy's at a time then having 4 more spaced out.. I mean i'd like a option for X2 enemy's and some kind of mini bosses.. unless he can just come out with the mod a few weeks after release

My only complaint with the first Remnant was not enough content...amazing game though...hopefully they learn from that and put a proper end game.

I hope they make more bosses without mobs. Those were my favorite in the first game. Mobs can make the boss fights tedious.
Please let this game have the rouge like mode one of the best end game activities for a looter shooter that others need to copy .

I'm not sure what attracts people to this - The gameplay in this looks so very... "Conventional": Wander around a bit in a Grimdark(tm) environment - shoot some mobs. Numbers pop up. Health bars go down. Stay away from that one enemy with the big gooey bit on it cos you know it will explode (Heck they even have one of these in Exoprimal). Fight a boss whose move-set you have to memorize. Dodge roll a bit. Get the RARE purple reward. SIGH. There is NOTHING here that seems any different than about 20 other similar games. (Still, the puppy is a good boy and you can at least pet them)

They added dogmeat, could of been an update, graphics look nice though
That stage though is pretty much the jungle dried up maybe that is the case and not a new stage….might be the reason they letting game play being showed….so I’m guessing we will go back to some old stages just more corrupted
