using an old drop bar with bar tape to hang frame from the top tube is just pure genius
appreciate that man
that was the most beautiful build I have ever seen.
Oh ... I see that reverse taping for cleaner Looks 😏😎
@Racepoint. I want to give you 1 suggestion. Please mention the parts you are using while assembling. Like shifters, cassette, sadle etc.
Man, the tools have come a long way, especially the torque wrenches and alignment tools. I used to build bikes for a long time and always did those things by eye with the old school torque wrench. I miss wrenching my own race bikes, it is so satisfying and confidence inspiring to do your own. edit: SLAM THAT STEM
Probly an old rich dude with a stem like that
I identify myself as an old rich dude with a 3 cm stem on a racebike, not made for my age or exact body height, but at least being easily affordable for me 🤷🏻♂️ What would/will you do? Buy an endurance bike? I have a Scott Addict Ultimate RC for +- the same price as this bike and due to my age and hardcore skateboarding in my younger years, I can't slam the stem without getting back pain. But because of a lot of structured training (flexible with my free time) and good fitness I'm still faster than most of the young and broke mf when i attend races. Even with that stem!
@@bidigi I hear you dude, I'm 50 and grew up skateboarding and herniated l4/l5. This Tarmac and your addict are fantastic bikes. My comment about slam that stem is purely a joke/jab about aesthetics. We all love the look of those pro bikes with slammed 140 stems, but only some can manage it. You have to ride what works best for you. I find that my body morphs and adapts depending on how much I ride, stretch, do core work, etc. I have had years when i could fully slam with a -17 stem on a tarmac and others when I used spacers. Bottom line is the enjoyment and miles you get. Nowadays I mostly ride with my 11 year old and wrench for my wife who is a CX pro. Enjoy the ride guys!
@@billscott6819 cool to hear of the similarities in our past. I commented (sarcastically) on the "old rich dude on a racebike" bla bla, that always pops up. Tired of that. Because everyone always states that it is only about the legs and the bike (nearly) is secondary, until an old dude owns a bike that you can't afford and is faster than you.
无所谓啦
This is the one SL7 frame that I would trade my venge for :). Nice build! Love the video's 👌
I think best looking sl7 frame ever. Matte satin black with sparkles and brushed silver logos.
Terrible idea! My 19 venge got split in half and even with the crash discount I can't bring myself to getting an SL7. Can't believe they can market it as particularly aero when you compare it with, for example, the S5
Whats the feeling of having a nice bike?
Thats the question that I dont have answer cause I dont have any of it.
Solid supporter here from the Philippines 👋👋
Thanks for this video! This bike is plain and simple, beautiful! I’ve always wanted to see that bike with parts that are in this build, tires and handlebar in special. Keep going the amazing work! That bike is my dream, one day I will have one of those. 🥲
For me is the perfect road race bike!
Perfectly built. Just one minor thing, recheck the chain orientation, I uploaded my first bike build video with the same mistake. Looks gorgeous.
@@Bradbajc yes they do, just google it quickly. One side has no markings (inside side), other side has text (outside side)
@@YellowKneedMoose I am a goof lol. I totally forgot one side has printing and that side should face outwards.
@@Bradbajc all good man, i made that oof and put it on youtube aswell :D
Tôi rất thích những chiếc xe đạp s-works do bạn lắp ráp. Giá mà tôi có đủ kinh phí để đặt mua 1 chiếc xe do chính tay bạn xây dựng.
Finally...Nobody does bike p0rn better than these guys
I hope I have one of that bike
Built my sl6 with similar setup but used the Pro-Vibe Evo and no OSPW. Love this setup since its so close to mine
I echo another comment here, what's the final weight on this build?
What model is the rear mech hanger? Its not the specialized
Nice work !!
Oh guy, this is my dream work
The bike of my dreams😅😁😁😁🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
@Racepoint Bike Shop which derailleur hanger do you use here? I can't find one anywhere that is allowed for the DURA ACE 9200.
What did you do to the derailleur hanger at around 6:00?
is there any rules not to clamp the workstand onto the seat tube, pls reply , any disadvantages
I wonder how long the fork steerer is at each Tarmac sl7 S-works frameset. I see in this video that a large part is cut while on my S-works frameset I did not need to cut it for the same amount of used spacers. Maybe the difference between a delivered frameset and a complete build by Specialized?
Yes, only complete Specialized bikes don't have excess steerer tube.
They have 3 different fork lengths depending on frame size, too.
Video maker here: please for the love of god show more images of the assembled bike. I feel like there is SUCH a misunderstanding out there that people only want to see the process. That in it self only has a somewhat limited appeal. People wish to the the finished bike in all its glory. Show details, different angles, the whole thing.
What a weapon! Great build as always 👌
Cheaply made disposable garbage for amateur poser clowns. 😀
Super boulot 💪👍🏻 magnifique ce tarmac s works
Just want to ask, what is the cable on seat post? what is the purpose of that? Thank you!
That is the battery for the di2
@@HuskyNoLimit thanks
7:40 is that a 160mm rear rotor??
¿Qué torque estás aplicando en la tija para fijarla al cuadro? en la parte 0:55 gracias
6.2 Nm, it's labeled on the wedge clamp itself. Different bikes have different seatpost clamp torque specs, there's no one torque spec for all.
La cinta del manillar la puso al revés, se comienza desde la parte inferior de éste hacia la potencia(tee), de lo contrario se va enrollando con el uso
GALACTIC GREASE 🚀
My dreambike🥰
Nice!! What camera do you use for these videos? Thanks
Thanks! Sony A7S iii with a Sony GM 24-70
es un cuadro de mi total gusto me parece de lo mejor
Respect for the wrapping from the top handlebar 😎
I've never seen anyone do it like that before. Gonna try it tomorrow on my road bike :)
@@Livviasong_ say no to electrical tape 🙅🏻♂
But but the edges will catch. Mate did his like that and it looked awful after a month. I guess the bike will have been replaced before then though.
@@leskennedy I guess it depends on the quality of the bar tape. I wrapped my bars with Supacaz Super Sticky Kush the day after I saw this video and it still looks perfect
Hermosa...😍😍😍
Just need to win lottery!
Hi Racepoint! Can you send me the link for that steerertube sanding device!
REMS 113825 - REG 8-35 Outer-Inner Pipe Deburrer
perfect except for the OSPW
Nice ! What torque are you applying onto your shifters handle ? Cheers ;-)
5 Nm is usually enough, but it also depends on the handlebars.
On an über lightweight carbon handlebar like Darimo, 4 is the absolute highest you can go. Again, varies with each manufacturer.
How heavy is it?
First One 🎉
Lol😅
Wait wait can you go back real quick
excelente
Alto nivel en Sudamérica estamos lejos de armar una así 👍👍👍👍🌟

Un buen Ensamblaje.
This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
0:49 why grease? and not carbon paste?
This is the seatpost wedge and Specialized says to grease that part.
I feel like you should have a hand washing station with the foot activator to wash your hands...pure surgery. Well done.
It's lighter and more aero dynamic
how much all it cost? please answer thanks.

Yes, its ugly.
I want this bike 😢
Anyone else wondering how to clean that OSPW?
What is the total cost of the build?
Tuyệt vời.
this is the bike that got a recall because its dangerous

Butiful
I’m enjoying the bike so far ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
That ceramic speed pulley wheel is jokes.
7:30 i thought he was drinking left over bleeding break oil lmao
Tune hubs
I don't like tune hubs, light but unreliable. Perhaps you don't know it
@@miquelmolina5298 Just working on one recently, the hub assembly is not quite like anything I know of so far. No inner race support from within, hub play is adjusted by means of 0.1 mm shims. Even the seats for the outer races from the inside aren't as large as I thought. DT Swiss is still one of my favourites. I don't mind about busting the ratchet ring open, it's just a given with DT Swiss hubs.
weight? :)
Tiktokに投稿してもいいですか?
20,000$?
The Vittoria Corsa is a tyre below average and not supposed to be used on such a performance bike.....
This tire isn't cheap for many riders. Cotton-casing tires are never cheap.
I normally go on only fans for content that dirty.
MTB rotor on road bike? He looks slow
This video feel so rush and fast.
Yet another boring black paint job. How original.
T'as le poids 🤔🚲
You gotta be bored of building SL7s by now
But there are two more to come! 😂😂
Et le p🤔ids.....???
