You are correct, I was referring to the nominal voltage of the battery pack. It's still referred to as a 12V battery even if it reads lower or higher depending on charge level. 9V being fully discharged 0%, 10.53V is down to 42.5% and 12.6V 100% fully charged

In series you just get 3 x 3.51 = 10.53. how is it 12v?
