@saltburning The interviewer started with Zoe and asked everyone a question in the beginning except Saoirse. She skipped her and returned to Zoe. It seemed like Zoe noticed this so she asked Saoirse her first question.
Honestly? Before now, I was never terribly impressed with Zoe Saldana. However, she BODIED her role in Emilia Pérez. I am looking at and listening to Zoe with a newfound respect on several levels. The lady is actually smart, intelligent, beautiful, and talented. I would/could not have honestly confessed this before her Emilia Pérez performance.🤗
This was a great group of actresses but it was a pity the interviewer missed the opportunity to get more insights from Cynthia and Danielle. Why ask Cynthia the same two basic questions she’s already answered a million times on the Wicked press tour? It was good, but imbalanced in the moderating. 🤷🏽♀️

Nicely mediated discussion. It would have been lovely to have Cynthia and Danielle drawn more into the conversation but perhaps, like me, they were happiest listening.
I always love these roundtable convos during awards season! What a fantastic table of ladies this year and all wonderful projects and AMAZING performances!
One of the best roundtables ever, all these women are FANTASTIC actresses and in the best movies. Danielle is DEFINITELY one to watch. Cynthia is just anointed beautiful human. Love Zoe, Kate, Demi and Soairse. Kate gives me boss mentor vibes for sure.

What a gigantically powerful conversation on the topic of what we say no to, how we support one another, what topics are still pertinent, still speak to the woman’s experience of the world. Truly well done interview, truly well steered by the facilitator. Immediately subscribed for more content - keep it up!! 👍🏻
All I can say is…IT’S BLISS. It’s bliss to watch these powerhouses gathered around this table. Each and every being so classy, so warm, so intelligent and respectful. Best round table in years! And what a year it was for Female characters (with all the love and respect I have for the work Cynthia, Saoirse, Zoe, Danielle and Kate did (brilliantly) it was a year when my love for Demi (whom I adooore for years) grew to an enormous extent. She was phenomenal in The Substance, really) Brava to all of the ladies for their Artistry👏🏼♥️
I loved the substance in that round table. All amazing women. Zoe is such a deep but sweet honest voice, and she is killing it. I am so proud of you Zoe. Kate and Saoirse I love them and respect them as well. This is my first time seeing Demi in a deeper way, and Cynthia's voice is just very soothing to hear. I would have love for Danielle to have spoken a bit more, but it seems that she wasn't ready to open up.

Excellent !! These women are the best. It’s not a criticism, but it’s just a thought, it would’ve been wonderful to have included Meryl Streep and Michelle Yeoh included on this panel. And I’ve been wonderful to explore DANIELLE‘s experience in the Star Wars universe and to discuss Kate Winslet‘s experience with the movie Revolutionary Road. All of these ladies are so inspiring. I really enjoyed this round table. Thank you.
Also, when they were talking about being in character and having to come out of it after the work, I would’ve loved to hear Demi Moore talk about how she came out of G.I. Jane.
it's so refreshing to watch all these eloquent and well-spoken ladies; a very nice break from the current short-form videos we see online or these wannabe 'podcasters'
Fun fact: Demi Moore’s production company had the rights to adapt Gregory Maguire’s novel, Wicked, into a film under Universal. But they didn’t pursue it, so Marc Platt was convinced by Stephen Schwartz to let him adapt it into a stage musical with Winnie Holtzman instead.
Kate is such a thoughtful intelligent actress,I bet she's a great colleague and friend on a film set,I hope she gets an Oscar nod for Lee it was one of her best for a long time, not that she's ever been bad.
Ahhhhh watching this I see what people are talking about with the questions directed to Cynthia. Why didn’t they dig deeper past what was talked about on the press tour. Heck something as simple as we have seen you in Harriet, Drift, Luther and now Wicked. All different but with strong women. How do you go about deciding which roles will be best for you? How do you connect with your characters? Knowing the reason The Color Purple made it to Broadway is attributed to the musical you were a part of in London, how much responsibility to you feel to protect the integrity of your characters. How important is it to you as a Capricorn to protect your peace? Something… In other news… man I love listening to Kate Winslet and Zoe Saldana. Such wisdom there. And I love the lady sitting between Zoe and Cynthia. I forgot her name but absolutely love hearing about how her mom kept her childhood as normal as possible. Awesome

Kate with her strength and vocabulary, Saoirse super humble and confident. But Zoe and Demi and Danielle surprised me, I didn't know they were so elegant and ambitious actors! Loved this video
Leaving this to watch the piano lesson right now wow
Nicely mediated discussion. It would have been lovely to have Cynthia and Danielle drawn more into the conversation but perhaps, like me, they were happiest listening.
I always love these roundtable convos during awards season! What a fantastic table of ladies this year and all wonderful projects and AMAZING performances!
Zoe is so articulate and passionate, gotta respect her craft and her resume. Cant wait for her Best Supporting Actress win!
Shes done some amazing work in her career. She didn't start out with strong roles but has really given herself to her craft. Esp in avatar
I could listen to her speak forever. She is such a gorgeous speaker and still seems so grounded despite her insane success.
She's gonna win, I can feel it.
Here for Cynthia 💚💚💚
Me too💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚🩷💚
@ she’s sooo amazing 💚🥺
This roundtable was INCREDIBLE ✨ I love all the interactions, you could feel like they were in a sisterhood. Love every minute of it.
Wish they had more interesting questions for Cynthia and Danielle tho.
I think you gotta jump into these things. Saoirse wasn't asked anything interesting by the moderator but thankfully Zoe did ask her.
She was phenomenal in The Substance, really)
Brava to all of the ladies for their Artistry👏🏼♥️
"I'm failing forward." This is my new mantra.
“Of course you’ve done lambing.” 😂 Kate is like Saoirse’s big sister.
What minute?
Cynthia and Kate at the same place! two of my all time favorites ❤
this whole conversation was very amazing... all these women are powerful...
its good to see kate and saoirse again in same place😍
I am so crazy about them
Crazy there is only one Oscar among them. I hope that changes soon. They are all amazing.
This entire video just warmed my heart. I feel so full after watching this. 💖💕💖 Makes me so happy 😭🙌🥹
I’m here for my Cynthia Erivo❤
Me too
We’re holding space 🤝
Same!!
Ugh, so good. This is wonderful.
i'm here for Demi Moore, Zoe Saldana and Saoirse Ronan. especially Zoe, wanna see her get her flowers it's been a longtime overdue
The conversation around children is so true and so important. So very important!
I love Zoe Saldanña so much
Please do this again but with better questions for Cynthia🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
No too much of her cringe with ariana
What a powerhouse table! But it is phenomenal to see the incomparable Demi Moore at this table!
These women are so inspiring.... I keep reminding myself why society's bad actors ALWAYS attack/come for artists first. Thank LA Times for this... I just subscribed... Continued success and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
I LOVED Cynthia's explanation of emotional crying interviews 😊❤ She's right... Why people are so afraid of emotions? 💔
Because, we like pretending that we have control of everything, specially of our emotions.
Actors, we all are born actors.
Best round table of the season so far!
I wish we heard more from Danielle, was it edited out?
I wasn’t familiar with Danielle but OMG after watching this roundtable I’m thirsty to hear from her, she’s amazing
If she wasn't the case that prob means she didn't say much, but Deadwyler has always been more of a listener
She always is quiet ngl
I think so
@@rishlovesfalafels I recommend Till (2022)
Will this be available to watch from the beginning? Here for queen Cynthia!!
Not long enough, I could listen to them all day.
Jane.
Came for Cynthia!🩷💚💚💚🩷🩷🩷
it's so refreshing to watch all these eloquent and well-spoken ladies; a very nice break from the current short-form videos we see online or these wannabe 'podcasters'
I loved everything about this interview! These power house women and their vulnerability is amazing! Thank you!
I just adore Cynthia!!❤❤❤
Fun fact: Demi Moore’s production company had the rights to adapt Gregory Maguire’s novel, Wicked, into a film under Universal. But they didn’t pursue it, so Marc Platt was convinced by Stephen Schwartz to let him adapt it into a stage musical with Winnie Holtzman instead.
This was wonderful! Great roundtable.
everyone had such profound things to say! wish it was longer
Something…
In other news… man I love listening to Kate Winslet and Zoe Saldana. Such wisdom there. And I love the lady sitting between Zoe and Cynthia. I forgot her name but absolutely love hearing about how her mom kept her childhood as normal as possible. Awesome
I love the moment between kate and Saoirse 🤣🤣🥰🥰 I love this around table, the actresses and the conversation ❤️❤️🤍🤍
BRAVA ladies! Ugh this makes me want to start over and be a Journalist or figure out how to be a Host so I can be in a room with great minds like these and have these kinds of conversations.
This was truly inspiring! I wish I could see such a wonderful round regularly! I’m deeply touched! And my favourite quote for the future will be “When I’m failing, I’m failing forward!”Thanks to Zoe Saldana.❤👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love Cynthia!!💚💚💚
@MateLeobYou have no business being hateful
@MateLeobdo your research about someone before just talking💀💀💀
@MateLeob”she only in one movie” 💀💀 gurl first of all NO? And she literally in so many successful shows and movies. She’s literally 1 Oscar away from EGOT status. Sit down
She has actually been in another round tables before so she’s no stranger to this. She certainly belongs there as she has been in Hollywood movies and been on the awards circuit for years now even if she’s only getting attention from some fans now. She is a very well trained actress and singer and that alone that gives her the right to be there. Haters be damned.
Actually, she was known by a lot of people. The rock you live in is very big.
This was AMAZING!!! I want to watch so many more !!
Sooo obsessed with Danielle’s voice!!! 😩😩😩👌🤌
These conversations did not happen in public when I was young. I’m so grateful they are happening now!
Queen Kate Winslet ❤
All six of them are phenomenal women and creatives.
Worth listening to. What a group of great actors! I love the wisdom this conversation brought. I could listen to them for hours.
This was such a powerhouse group of incredibly talented and deeply interesting women. One of the best round tables ever. Loved every second.
What an amazing interview ❤.
I always enjoy the actress roundtable more than any others. Great group and discussion. Such talent in one room!!!
Kate is always such a joy to listen to! And love Saoirse!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you! This was an abso-f*cking-lutely wonderful and long overdue, sincere and deep conversation!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ you will touch hearts and minds
I've never seen Zoe Saldaña interviewed before and I have to give her props, she had important, powerful words to say and she spoke from the heart. She was asked a question that could have offended people and even those she's worked with before but she explained herself and why she felt stifled so beautifully.
