    Absolutely beautiful😍 how can people rush by without a smile of appreciation at least-I would miss my train on purpose to hear the rest of the song❤

    SO moving! Just two voices and that intense reverberation. Loved that you shared this, thanks so much

    That voice of yours is so powerful, it could wake the dead.

    Gotta love those acoustics - giant bathroom reflections 🙂 If you are ever near Austin and want to sing one out in an odd spot or collaborate in some way, I'd definitely be down for that.

    Wonderful music, sing, accoustics. I also enjoyed the passers-by staring at the floor, evidently having no idea what to do with the experience.

    Fantastic! I enjoy listening to this song by you two very much. I hope you put it on Spotify. I hope, too, that you both do more of this kind of singing and put it here and on Spotify. Peace!

    I loved the shows at Irish Arts Center, and became an overnight fan of bluegrass as a result!

      Saw him in Cornwall a few years ago. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. There was an emergency in the venue so we all got evacuated... Tim took the whole audience around the streets of Bodmin, performing while we waited to be let back in. Unforgettable ❤️🙏

      @@petelongbottom963 I heard about it! Lucky you! I was saying to Stephen Hunt last year how much I'd love to see Tim play & he told me about that evening... I grew up next to Bodmin & it did make me ever so envious!

    Is there anywhere I can find the words/lyrics? Have tried finding them online but can't so far.
    Absolutely love the arrangement of this!

      O Thou who dry'st the mourner's tear,
      How dark this world would be,
      If pierced by sin and sorrow here,
      We could not fly to Thee.
      The friends who in our sunshine live,
      When winter comes, are flown;
      And he who has but tears to give,
      Must weep those tears alone.
      ...
      Oh, who would bear life's stormy doom,
      Did not thy wing of love
      Come, brightly wafting through the gloom
      Our Peace-branch from above?
      Then sorrow, touched by Thee, grows bright
      With more than rapture's ray:
      As darkness shows us worlds of light
      We never saw by day!

    It's great, Tim! But I still like the solo, free-form version better. It's not so rigidly rhythmic.

    • @TimEriksenMusicVideo
      @TimEriksenMusicVideo  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, I had to regulate it to make it work as a shapenote song, but ultimately there's no reason to keep it so straight (unless it's at a singing obviously)
