never seen a map like this, i dont think diabotical will be this complicated in defrag off the bat...this was vq3 movement but the dynamic props or w/e allow you to move so fast at times, was crazy fun to watch.
map looks gothic, not like original quake 2 but i dig it, its very pro. i dont dig fish eye moment though, i think original point of view is better. is this playable ?
Why hasn't a single person has created a proper FPS platformer? It doesn't need to be some full bhop abusive game, exploiting engine to it's full potential like doing double jumping or jumping of edge\ledge and angle to achieve higher jumping. Just a platformer with jumping mechanics and full of traps that you'd have to avoid with dodge and timing skills.

I'm not totally familiar with Q2 physics, but that slide from the pentagram up to the top of the ledge is really sexy.
Q2 slick has more acceleration and with that you can also make much steeper turns with it.

Xonotic has platformer capabilities and some maps
Isn't xonotic is just a generic anera deathmatch?
No, it includes a defrag mod, many other game types and is extensible. Check my profile for a Super Mario mod and sidescroller multiplayer DM
Check out bunnytrack mode in UT99. Lots of movement puzzles, platforming and traps, much like you described.
