I love the vids with Lucy and now Millburn. I do know that deer are so neat and if they get a chance to snatch junk food lol . We used to camp n a place in Oregon the deer come into your camp snatch foods off the table they really do like bread regular Cheetos yummy. I think it's neat u have a nice ranch and they get to free roam and free lucky for you and Chris provide milk for Millburn. Thanks for sharing.

Have been waiting on the Lucy And Milburn update. My mom raised an orphaned doe too. She took great care of her until God found it time for the doe to move along into Gods country.
Saturday is my moms birthday and she died in 2011. She would love the Lucy and Milburn videos.

Wow Jimmy Houston! The living legend. I just want to say when I was growing up 30 years ago I watched every single show you had. My cousin and I would pretend we were you and Bill Dance when we went Bass fishing. WOW now your here on RUclips.
And I told my neighbor who also has a pet deer. I could never own a pet that everytime I looked at her, I'd lick my lips. But they really do make great pets. He has lost both during the rut. We see her but she doesn't come around anymore.

Great Video on Lucy & Milburn. The Diet change is probably the Deers Maturity Level. Mother Nature is knocking on the door. Better plan to be a Grandpa Jimmy & Grandma Chris for Lucy. When that happens just look up. Thank God for the Great Love that HE Gave you, to Share For Lucy. The Adopted Deer, that was given a Great Chance to SURVIVE. Amen.

I’m hoping for twins, we had a rescued doe several years ago and her baby never ever let us get very close to her! Always looked at the doe and wondered what was wrong with her Mama!! Both of em’ finally just never came

You and Chris have balanced their diets well enough that the few things out of the norm you feed them is of no consequence. My friend has a vineyard and it is overrun with deer. They love the grapes and pick the vines clean. Thanks for caring about these gifts of nature. I enjoy the pet deer videos and watching Lucy love on you.
They do love grapes, and I don’t think a few cookies will hurt em’!! They get lots of the HiProtein deer food and Alfalfa also! Thanks!! God Bless!! jimmy

The deer started coming around because I feed the birds one night I looked out the window and a deer was licking the seed off the bird feeder. Oh my goodness I had to feed this little animal and she came one night with her friends.

I have showed everybody this videos. My son could not believe that she jumped out the boat when she sees you. He said a dear won't ride in a boat and I showed him and now he is a believer. He says that she will leave but always come back.wilburn not do much. Because he's a buck that's why he's so skittish. . He says one day he will leave and probably not come back. I think he's wrong. Guess we will have to see. Keep the videos coming.

Great video Jimmy!! South Fresh is located very close to our 2 farms in South Alabama. I googled them once you made a comment. Our places are in Uniontown and about 5 miles south of Thomaston, so Demopolis is really close (within 15-20 miles). I didn't even know they were there. I am going to check with them about their feed. We have about 7000 acres between the 2 pieces of property and use 10,000's of pounds of supplements each year for our deer and turkey. Thanks for mentioning them. Really enjoy all your vlogs and I watch every one!! Thank you for sharing not only your experiences but more importantly your faith!!!! Jimmy, how did you get so lucky ? First Lucy and now Milburn ... I notice that Milburn is not as big a fan of the loving attention as Lucy. I am guessing that is the buck in the little guy. I think it is in a male deer to be a little skittish most of the time. Non the less the both bring a smile to my face and heart. You show such amazing love for the animals around you, including kissing your fish ...

Man I'm a deer hunter...yet I love them too. In that vein, I hope your ranch is big enough where these deer will stay on it, and if they don't, I hope your neighbors know about them and will leave them alone. You know I've always had pipe dreams about having some huge piece of property where I could hunt....but I've always known it would have to be big enough where I could go to the far side to hunt, where I would not encounter the regular deer visitors to my yard! Probably....no definitely.....that would sound strange to those who know me considering all the deer I've harvested over the 55 years since I turned ten. Wonderful to know that in heaven, no living thing will have to die so that I may live, because Jesus already did that for us. We'll lay down in the Garden once again amidst all God's creation!!!!
Very well said, Greg! I hunt also, but our ranch is large and we have orange and red identification on these two! Only family hunts here, so I think LUCY and Milburn are pretty safe! Greg Kerr Amen! I grew up in a hunting family & eaten deer most of my life. But as I’ve reached my 50’s I have grown very soft hearted towards nature & God’s animals. I just love to watch each one, even the common birds. You brought up ANOTHER great thing we get to look forward to in heaven, no animals will have to die anymore and we will live in peace with them. 🦌💕
