Oh my goodness, I love the entire deer family but that Lucy and that sweet little tongue hanging out is just the best! I know in years past the deer in our area didn't mind munching on my garden....Lol! I wonder if they would eat kale or greens of some kind? The deer in my area would eat anything and everything in my garden and I think they were standing off in the woods watching me and laughing at the veggies they destroyed! I think that girl Nina is going to be in trouble, she should be grounded... Chris they will eat soaked oats... not oatmeal but straight oats soaked in hot water. It's easier for them to digest. I watch videos of goats too and I just love to watch these animals play together. I wander what the deer and goats would do if they were raised around each other? Maybe you could borrow some of Daniels goats from Arms family homestead. Maybe I'm just being silly right now, but I just love watching animals play together. I'm so thankful that God not only provided animals for our food, but also for us to enjoy. I'm 68 and retired and have a cat and she is such a good companion for me. I also love watching these animal videos cause they bring so much joy to me. Thank You for sharing these videos with us. Happy New Year to all your Deer Family! I live in PA., we have young deer in our Local Park, who are not afraid of people or dogs, as long as they are not barking. I like to stop and watch them, as they watch us. It is amazing, neither of my dogs scare them off, eventually the herd wanders on!

I'd like to see any video about Lucy's injury, and how she overcame it with your help. Add a warning graphic" for squeamish viewers. It would add another level of amazement of how not only rescue pets have an enduring appreciation for their lives being saved; but to see a wild animal experience it... would be more miraculously heartfelt. I can only speak for myself. (I've rescued animals for decades, and have deer walk into our backyard.... where they do NOT belong, but they seem to like me. Blows my mind every single time.) Does anybody agree about Lucy's journey to recovery with Jimmy and Chris?

But nothing compared to y'all's. I have several feeders out, (Triple Grip brand- has corn, soybean seeds, almonds, different kinds) and have been putting out in different locations, carrots, cheerios, grapes, apples, pears, fresh corn, and different kinds of greens..(lettuce, turnips, kale, etc...) Still haven't been able to find the deer food you feed. I live in Northwest Alabama. I have watch 3 different doe, 2 of them had twins, (1 set is button bucks now) and 1 set is doe) the other momma had 1 doe) and they all were born around March 2020, but noticed a week ago on my trail camera, another doe has came and she has a set of twins, and they are really small, and still feeding on their momma. Deer are amazing animals to watch...I just wished I could hold them and love on them...but they wouldn't be afraid of other humans, so I will just love them from afar.....thank y'all again so very much.and may you and yours be greatly blessed and highly favored!

Praying that Milburn is just hiding out from the big boys. Just gonna stay positive and think we’ll see him after the Rut. Here in Michigan people will feed deer corn, apples, carrots and sugar beets plus a quality Deer feed. Since that usually has a great balance of nutrition especially for mass n antler growth. I could sit there and watch the Deer forever, even while hunting that is another wonderful thing to do. Is enjoy nature’s sound and watching all the animals, squirrels, wood peckers, birds, turkeys and what ever else that might be doing there pre winter chores. Thanks for sharing!

@@TwinEagleRanch my cats do too; they prefer plastic bowls to the ceramic or metal ones. Also tap water probably tastes better since we use filters. Your babies are accustomed to good food and drink 🥰

Thank y'all so much for sharing with us! Y'all's place is so beautiful! And y'all's love of the deer 🦌 is so awesome! I have several families of deer, that I have been watching in my woods and yard. But nothing compared to y'all's. I have several feeders out, (Triple Grip brand- has corn, soybean seeds, almonds, different kinds) and have been putting out in different locations, carrots, cheerios, grapes, apples, pears, fresh corn, and different kinds of greens..(lettuce, turnips, kale, etc...) Still haven't been able to find the deer food you feed. I live in Northwest Alabama. I have watch 3 different doe, 2 of them had twins, (1 set is button bucks now) and 1 set is doe) the other momma had 1 doe) and they all were born around March 2020, but noticed a week ago on my trail camera, another doe has came and she has a set of twins, and they are really small, and still feeding on their momma. Deer are amazing animals to watch...I just wished I could hold them and love on them...but they wouldn't be afraid of other humans, so I will just love them from afar.....thank y'all again so very much.and may you and yours be greatly blessed and highly favored!

Praying that Milburn is just hiding out from the big boys. Just gonna stay positive and think we’ll see him after the Rut.
Here in Michigan people will feed deer corn, apples, carrots and sugar beets plus a quality Deer feed. Since that usually has a great balance of nutrition especially for mass n antler growth.
I could sit there and watch the Deer forever, even while hunting that is another wonderful thing to do. Is enjoy nature’s sound and watching all the animals, squirrels, wood peckers, birds, turkeys and what ever else that might be doing there pre winter chores. Thanks for sharing!

Always a blessing when I view your posts . The old adage “a rolling stone gathers no moss “certainly describes the Houston family. Ministry takes on different forms, and the care of God’s creatures is one of yours. I often tell people “God’s love for animals is immeasurable, after all the landscaping was done to our universe, he made the critters. Time has been filled with many work hours and caring for Michael as we wait for closure. Thank you for your prayers and comments, Michael was on cloud ☁️ 9 when I read your replies.
