- Ahhh I am just loving backcountry camping this summer! But oh boy, I am still not able to plan routes well ahaha. You'll see - this was quite the adventure. But it all worked out, and was a great three day, two night trip :)

I'm planning on doing this same hike in a few weeks. Thanks for the heads up on the similkameen trail. Although I'm wondering if it's been cleared by now. Guess I'll have to see for myself.
I hiked from Manning Park to Rainy Pass when I was in the boy scouts. This brings back memories

Love the route disagreement 😂😂 I’m always right as it’s me who plots the routes too lol I think it’s an inborn subconscious ego caveman thing in guys with navigating they like to know they know where they are going 😂

You should totally do the Pacific Crest trail.

Sarah, the little $5 camping permit for Frosty Creek campground - do you have to do anything with the permit when you arrive at the campground? Great video.
Oh yes, you just need to keep it on your person! So if you come across a park ranger, or they come through camp asking for your permit, you can show it. We have never been asked for our permit, and only once did we see a park ranger... But we always carried ours in our packs :)
