- Hello guys and girls and welcome to FoxyRaven-TV. So today i want to test the ticket to revenge railway rifle to see how well this weapons does in the world of fallout 76 in 2024.

OK, controversial take:
1. very few of the earnable, prefixed legendaries are "endgame" guns, ie, the absolute best of the best, probably because then everyone would chase them and the meta would be even MORE limited.
2. The railway rifle is already ridiculously OP (I should know, my main is a quad exp with reduced AP) and is already part of the meta game.
3. lots of people moan about the state of the meta because bloodied commando is also OP
So, logically, introducing a bloodied ffr railway rifle with a large mag would be a bad idea.
Better to give it a mid-tier effect that's still pretty OK.
I dont disagree with you, but the problem for me is they say something and then the day before the launch the update they switch the weapon legendary effects out, not only that but they told us like 3 or 4 days before the season ended, normally we would have from 1 to 2 weeks notice, clearly something went wrong at bugthesda as it always do, but i really dont care about the RR effect i got Grolls anyways, but i am thinking about the players in general and i have always had all other players than my self in mind for the FO76 community, i think about others before my self when i play video games.
But i burned out of FO76 and also because of the atlantic city update and now this shill of an empty space of a map expansion i had enoth, bethesda needs to learn to bake their cakes and stop just mashing things together, no one wants rotten fish in their cake.

If there's an earnable groll, that's all anyone new is going to chase, and suddenly an already easy game becomes infinitely easier, while also being a lot less diverse in a game in which most of the weapons, armour and builds are already struggling to even remotely compete.
Yes, it sucks it got changed at the last minute, but imagine how much worse it would be if they HADN'T nerfed it, let loads of people earn it, realised it had broken the game, and THEN nerfed it. We'd be back to that whole legacy weapons debacle again.
As to the season itself, that's a separate issue. I agree the end of season 16 was mishandled VERY badly, and I'm personally deeply unimpressed with the offerings on the scoreboard, to the point that I'm in it for the atoms and prefab, but after that, I'm not bothering (I'm certainly not wasting my time and tickets getting to lvl 150, being forced to buy a bunch of tat that I don't want, just to grind out ten lvls just to earn 100 atoms and for the season to end apruptly again). The map expansion itself is pretty underwhelming, as are the missions and events.
So yes, I too am looking to jack the game in and find a new obsession. No man's sky looks attractive at, if I can just get past the grind of the early game and the frustratingly clunky menu system, but the new Sherwood game coming to gamepass has also caught my eye.
@@peterclarke7006 People are selling Quad Railway Rifles for 5K caps left and right anyways, so whats the point of not being able to have the original intended RR?
Fallout76 has always had issues with some people dublicating weapons and so on they sell for nothing as they did dublicate alot of those items, no joke before i quit the game and uninstalled it the first time ever i was server jumping to see what people sold as i never really do this and planned to make a video about how easy it is to get close to a Groll weapon for no caps at all, but i ended up scrapping it, as i only had to server jump twice and found several close to Groll RR, Fixers, Handmades and so on and on, so was no point in making a video about it as it seems every one knows this as it was so easy for me to find close to Grolls weapons with 2 server jumps.
@@FoxyRaven-TV yes, but an earnable groll railway rifle that specifically encourages bloodied commando builds... Do you not see how that would take a system that's already pretty broken and shove it clean off a cliff?
I dunno. It just seems like everyone moans about the meta, but really this whole debacle has revealed that they're really moaning because they aren't part of the meta yet.
I use a groll railway rifle with a full health build and an ss over eaters armour set, but my GOD I wish the game encouraged us to try to have a bit more fun with our builds and loadout, rather than railroading us (no pun intended) into similar builds.
@peterclarke7006 I dont see the problem no when people sell quad crit damage RR for a candy "Less than 5K caps" or you can just go into steam fo76 community and ask for one and most of the time people will give you one for free, if it was harder to get a quad crit dmg RR then i would agree with you that putting in a bloodied crit 20clip would be a bad idea but that aint the case as i have wrote several times by now, quad crit dmg RR are just so common now that people give them left and right.
Well thats why i started to make thise videos in the first place to show people that there are several other options and you dont need to go the so called meta route to be OP, then it ended in a weapon showcase kinda thing with builds and so on and a couple of guides how to get this and that.
I am now totally done and looking forward to play "The First Descendant" and "Once Human" :)
EDIT:
I still miss my bloodied explosive flamer and my bloodied, TS and AA explosive gatling laser and plasma, i had a bloodied explosive laser rifle and a TSE laser rifle aswell, but i didnt get to use them much before they removed legacy weapons, back in those days we can talk about broken meta xD
The quad explosive harpoon with the shatter module on was also pretty broken xD
One of my older videos here just made a clip out of it, switching over to my bloodied explosive flamer and i was on a full health build xD

So yeah complaining about todays meta to me is just meh because i remember the true broken meta times in FO76.
But i also thing they should release what they told people and not just make a last call change.
But again i dont really care about FO76 more and thats how it is :)
Players in general seems to have the same view as i do if we look at player numbers on steamDB, its sky jumping down in player numbers, its almost like a free fall in daily player numbers.

That's my take, too.
The original bloodied version was going to be way overpowered and the gun that would absolutely solidify the endgame meta as being for bloodied commando builds because EVERYONE could earn one, and they'd be showing up in everyone's vendors.
So if we're going to whinge about bloodied commando builds and Railway Rifles being op, then it's absolutely for the best that they nerfed this with a mid-tier first star.
I genuinely don't get why people are upset about it.

Hmm explosive is pretty nice! dare i say your Aristocrats might be better? Anti armour/bloodied with explosive would be better for sure.

@@mistagoro9931 You never know you might come across a player Vendor that has them, it happens to me like going for 3k caps and wasn't even looking for such weapons, Instant buy lol.
To be honest if it was Anti armour then it would be a wicked weapon, lets be honest Anti-armour and bloodied is pretty damn close. The bloodied effect needs to the extra damage to get through the damage resistance while Anti armour by passes the resistances. This does more damage but it takes 5 shots to reach it's max potential and even then it's kinda fell behind of both blooded and anti armour and is only able to catch up because of it's 20 round magazine. So it's a side grade more than anything. I mean the paint job is nice, I use it as my main boss driver now but i do like my bloodied for one shooting super mutants which i can't seem to do these days I seem to have a habit of double tapping everything lol, so I guess it's the same.

Nope, i only got the laser rifle and alot of stupid plans after 30+ kills. And i made the call to end the Fallout76 game for good, still have a few vids that are recorded comming up on my channel but next month its all over for FO76 on my channel.

The weapon is not bad I have two quads explosive
it's hard to have a bad railway rifle but it is so much worse than the one they promised..
This rifle is fine. You can't give a fixed god roll meta weapon. It would completely nullify the entire script system which means there's absolutely no reason to do anything other than race to that one weapon reward.
If you look at average time to kill on most enemies, this weapon more than competes. That weapon will carry you through the entire game without issue. Just be happy a revolver wasn't a reward.
Edit: You killed a behemoth in under 2 seconds. The queens were a joke. Any complaints about this weapon is just elitism at this point.

Again i got Grolls what ever weapon you can think of, i dont care about this weapon TBH, but i am thinking about other players that really looked forward to a 20clip bloodied they changed the day before the update went live to this, its just not how things should be, also the 3 days headsup with the season ending is not ideal, normally we would have 1 to 2 weeks notice before.
I can kill the behemoth in 1 hit though, not with the RR but its possible with other weapons ;)
The Mirelurk Queen is a joke to any ranged weapons TBH, she only hits hard because of the radiation she gives with her melee attacks, so as a ranged weapon player she should be a joke no matter the weapon you use if you can keep you distance ofc.
The game it self is a joke to put it lightly, nothing is hard, everything is a walk in the park with fallout76.
EDIT:
The new map is empty and is a cake they just mashed together with what they had in hands, so we got rotten fish in our cake and they even forgot to bake the cake.
End game content, do public events over and over again, do borring arse expeditions, daily ops are alright though with double mutation but got everything from daily ops so no point in doing them, kill 4 world bosses and thats it, thats the end game content of fallout76. not only is those the only things they are also too darn easy and borring.
The only reason i was able to put 8000+ hours into the game was because of youtube videos, only played when i was doing youtube videos the last couple of years, just as all other youtubers that make Fallout76 content, they only play on live streams or when they record videos today.
There is a reason the player numbers are sky diving down again, its the borring end game, when people realize this they quit.

The tiny bit of bump on player gains you see the 12th June was the release of the map expansion but it went down hill fast after that again, its a continue player number drop now.
@@FoxyRaven-TV you're literally proving my point. There are better weapons than this. End game isn't much and this game isn't hard. Hence giving someone the best possible weapon guaranteed from a quest that can be done on command would be a disaster for what little end game there is.
I agree a lot could be done to improve endgame. A lot. However, dropping G-roll meta weapon in every player's lap wouldn't fix the game.
Honestly a pvp vault that cycled through layouts with Pip Boys disabled (to make Hitman weapons meta for something) would be a great addition for late game.
But yeah, you kind of proved my point. The game has a trivial endgame and giving the best possible weapon guaranteed with minimal effort would be horrible.

Edit: you can buy quad crit damage RR from alot of people for like 5K caps or just ask in steam fo76 community, most likely some one will give you one for free as its overflown with thise weapons and rolls now, guess some people dublicated them 🤷

Also did you read i wrote that i can 1 tap the giant behemoth with other weapons than the RR, meaning RR aint the top of the foodchain 🙂

I agree about this season board it is dire and when you consider the tv series should peak player interest and they come to see this, someone dropped the ball big time...
