Yes, the plastic feet are garbage! Was at my wits end trying to get the toe kick installed and was looking on youtube for just this kind of video. Thanks! Will look for an epoxy and those Capita legs!

I have been using Hot Glue rather than epoxy.... its easier to work with. Except its really hot :) Good luck!

Just saw this as I was building my sektion cabinets. Great idea on the legs! How are the legs now 3 years after you made this vid? Anything new insights? thanks!

Wow - You went all out! I wanted in-drawing lighting too, but trying hard not to 'gold plate' since this isn't my forever home. Looks great!

Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing. I love the Ikea drawer lights but am considering getting a different brand of cabinets. Do you know if these lights would work with other cabinets or only Ikea?

But ikea does make a corner cabinet. Two styles actually. One with a blind that the attachment pulls all the way out so you can use every bit of space, and another style that uses a Pac-Man shaped lazy Susan that spins all around.

You're right! They do but not as a drawer it is a door system. I prefer the drawers so I gave up the corner storage.

You need quite a bit of space for those cabinets alone and then give up all the drawer space though when u install them. If u prefer the drawer space for esthetics and functional reasons then u give up the corner space, which in my case I will have to do aswell. I have two interior corners to work with like this and am trying to figure out how big the filler pieces will have to be that he has added into the corner for clearance of the door handles on the cabinets ?

      Hi Elaine,
Yes it does use up a lot of space. Funny thing ws when the room was empty it looked huge, now it feels "cosy" (aka smaller :)
As far as the filler piece in the corder that depends a lot on how far you handles stick out, because the biggest limitation is that the drawer has to clear the handles when you pull it out. And there should be a few millimeters of extra space just to make sure it works every time. I measured mine and they are about 4" of filler on each. Hope that helps!

@1:56 Is the metal rack available for sale ? Mine are not ikea cabinets and have a total MDF frame. Their width does not match any of the light strips, so screwing may not be possible.
Without the rack though, I many not be able to use the magnets too.

The lights use the metal to magnetically attach so I am not sure how to attach them to an MDF cabinet except with small screws.
