Hey: The reason the "chat" thing does not work is because extensions are sandboxed, they have the same access as a webpage. But, this extension does send messages in the roblox web chat. That no one uses.

They mean the browser chat. Not ingame chat. If you look at the recording you see the chat button is gone.

I think they may of meant that it removes that website chat that you use to message your friends and maybe it messaged everyone in your friends list and then hid the chat so you couldn't see that it messaged everyone, I mean it makes sense since it's an extension so it can only manipulate your browser and not the actual roblox chat inside of games.

Virtual machines aren’t 100% secure mind, you’d *probably* be fine with extensions because they just abuse data sharing privledges but there are viruses that can breach through vms
@@yaboil7774The thing is, extensions most likely will be fine, only viruses that are really dangerous, such as viruses that delete your computer’s hard-drive or something like that.
@@yaboil7774 they can only breach through VMs if your host machine or anything else on your network has a service with vulnerabilities. also seeing malware that can breach is unlikely especially when it's just from skids

So yes, running a malware on bare Metal hardware is much worse than running it under a VM.

Not sure if its new, but theres also UGC scam where people message you to help them upload their UGC and you get paid. They use stolen accounts to message you which they might have gotten through the same way. Very risky as you will be downloaded a "ugc model" file from them which might be a cookie logger

- do not download/install anything if you dont know what it is
- you did not and can not win free robux with the exception of microsoft rewards
- if it seems too good to be true it probably is
- dont send/give anyone info from your devices as it may let the other person do evil things
