Saw him at the Hard Rock Tulsa, OK this weekend. He puts on a great show, sounds the same in person as he does on the video. We would see him again when he comes back.
I want to thank you for acknowledging my father "Lloyd 'Spud' Richardson". He was a phenomenal clown. I was part of his act and came out of the stands to ride our trick pony, Queenie, out of the arena after she had kicked at him about 5 times. He was contracted to do the 7 night rodeo for Frontier Days at Cheyenne, Wyoming on its 50th Anniversary in 1946. His specialty was the bull riding clowning. Some of the cowboys got together and gave him a belt buckle which reads: To Spud the Clown, from Cowboys You Have Saved. I cherish that buckle very much. Regards, Lloyd Richardson, Jr.
Your great talent on writing songs brings me to tears so often! I just couldn't held when I saw the icon CHRIS LEDOUX on this vídeo, Paul... Congratulations for that and thank you for bring us that emotion... Albert F. Nether

I only took another look after seeing the video on TV cus of Bob wegner Bandera TX 1934- 2014. I was raised in bandera tx. that's when I fall in love with the song.
Thank you so much for that song. Takes me back to a good time in my memory and of cherished friends and family, some long gone now. Thanks for keeping country, country. Ron
There are dome great icons of the rodeo world in this video. I am lucky being from Oklahoma having met some Clem was a pillar of the sport thank you Paul
One of the best tributes I ever seen too some people I've never heard of. It's done so respectfully that it gives the unknown a lot of respect. I appreciate you sharing this with us it reminds me of family long gone.
I rarely comment on videos. I have to say recognition of all these cowboys is outstanding. However how you leave out the names like Bill Linderman or Turk, Bill, Alice Greenough is beyond me. I agree with comments on Lane Frost. And why not recognize the other stars midnight, five minutes to midnight, red rock... Maybe and I hope this is the case you are going to do a series of these. Anyway and well deserved tribute to all those in your video. -Ed-
We are adding this song in to our playlist at 95Q - Decatur, IL. We aren't a huge rodeo community, but still have some cowboys here too. Great song, man! If you are ever in our neck of the woods, feel free to stop in.
The cowboy legend will never die as long as guys like Paul sing about them, and guys like me pass it on to our kids. I'm a Northern New Mexico cowboy who became a Marine at 18. Ive passed the cowboy way to my boys. I pray they pass it on to their children.
GOD BLess you....Paul.....great songs that you write ...Sing and make us dream.....With better days.....'cos your songs bring happiness , feelings, honesty, and Faith as well......thanks ......i really like your music....got truth in it.
Thank you for this song. Sometimes when i am working the ranch i can still remember my friend Robert. He fought in ww2 and came back to work the cattle and train horses he never let a friend down and was always willing to help with a smile he was out on the pastor from sun up to sun down working. He was a true cowboy never talked much but lived his words. I miss rounding the herds up with you my friend i have learned so much from you and thank you for showing me what you did. You where right my friend people say they want to be a cowboy but then they don't know what a cowboy is. They say cowboys don't cry but i tip my hat to you with tears in my eyes. Miss you cowboy
William Perry Rodman 9-23-14. 8-19-87 third army under general Patton! WW2 North Africa to Germany. D day Normandy & battle of the bulge liberated the Jewish death camps in Germany. I’ll see you again some day grandad! You were bigger than John Wayne to me!

Beautiful song, touching tribute. Paul's song and voice have a realness in them that Nashville can't manufacture and duplicate.

Thanks Paul. I"m an old 73 year old cowboy from Texas from the 60's. Time has passed, but the memories won't go away. Oh how I miss the memories.
wonderful to see Chris LeDoux!
And to Lane Frost
Are you by some chance the same Paul Bogart whom grew up near Benton, PA? It'd kick my butt if you are. :)
That's one hell of a song. My dad just passed away at the age of 90 and he was a good hand...I already miss him and he would have loved this song.
I was hoping to see our local PBR champion Mason Lowe (Cassville, MO) who passed away at a PBR event. Only the good die young.
To all the cowboys who came before and all the cowboys who come next ride on my brothers ride on✊

I found you here today. Awesome voice and beautiful music. Perfect arrangement. Subbed . Isa

Someone is still making actual country music that honors the traditions it came from? Best news I've heard today.
