    Great ❤ thank you so much.m..can we use liquid colour for buds

    • @GourmetGateaux
      @GourmetGateaux  Год назад

      If you're using powdered colours mixed with a Alcohol based Rejuvenator which is basically just foodgrade - Isopropyl Alcohol then yes you can by all means used that.
      Water based paints you can use but it does soften up the buds so just by mindful of that. ☺️

    Its beautiful! May i ask if colored peony should i color the paste first or color after i made the petals, thanks

    • @crystalk17co
      @crystalk17co 5 лет назад +1

      It's always easier to dye the fondant first before you start to assemble. You can leave it white and then shade it the petals 2nd but then that would take too much time than to just dye and knead it together

    • @GourmetGateaux
      @GourmetGateaux  5 лет назад

      Thank you!
      If you want it in all one colour, then yes I would suggest dye-ing it before making the petals. If however you want shading and use different colours, then dusting the whites petal by petal is better. :-)

    Beautiful flower, your very talented. Your tutorials have made me want to try sugar flowers. Where can I get the peony veiner from? I tried your link but it doesn't work. Thanks

    • @GourmetGateaux
      @GourmetGateaux  4 года назад +1

      Hi there,
      Thank you so much for liking my work! :-). You should by all means try, they're not that difficult once you get the hang of them.
      Oh I don't know as it was working when I put it up. The only other website I can think of is The Sugar Art Studio but I'm not sure if they sell this specific one. Even if they don't they will have another peony veiner. :-)
