Holding hope for a pattern change around January 20th onward for Washington and Oregon as perhaps we get some NW flow revved up! Great forecast. Love the "for fun" section. Keeps hopes alive and makes it fun.
A break from the rain is nice, but of course we will need more later in the winter and continued good cascades snowpack so we don't have big wildfire trouble next summer. Also 'enough' out of these naysayers who are hellbent insistent that snow will never happen in the willamette valley this winter. An ice storm I don't want, but I would love a good snow storm.
I've lived long enough to know I've been disappointed about snow forecast and it not happening so many times but we usually have some at least a couple days
Great forecast AS ALWAYS! Any chance during the next big snow or ice event, having a dedicated KGW mobile livestream (on RUclips) driving through our traditional problem areas?
☃️ ❄️ February 7 through the 13th. Let it snow a winter Wonderland in Portland. 👍 ☃️ ❄️ looking forward to see what the weather is like in February. ☃️ ❄️
i thank God our creator/sustainer, giver/taker of life, Emmanuel, God with us(Jesus), the king-of-kings, Lord-of-lords…I thank Him for this dry weather coming, so we can get to the outdoor cleanup! thank you Jesus!!!
Great forecast. Thank goodness we will get a few days of dry weather. We have work to do before more rains come. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much Rod! Let’s enjoy the sunshine now for who knows what the end of January and early February might bring us ☃️😁
Thank you Rod ! North Bend Oregon appreciates you!
Love your part of Oregon
We've had our coldest temps in the first two weeks of February. Thanks for the update!
Thank you, Rod!
Awe, I'm going to miss the warm temperatures, but the rain not so much! 😂❤ Cheers!
Good riddance low pressure, ponding, flooding, muddy back porch. Give it a rest. Thanks for the detailed forecast Rod.

Snow levels on paper look to drop to 1,000'', possible lower.
