It sort of like that I believe Bruce Lee quote "I don't fear the man that practiced 50,000 kicks, but the man that practiced one kick 50,000 times." True mastery over one skill at least in terms of a performance is probably better than surface level of tens of skills.
In interview, and sometime in the show, they explained they want people that are curious to go look on internet. The thing is that those people have to do the effort to go on the web. The people that just want to enjoy a magic show won't learn anything, and respect their wish to see magic without understanding.
There are certain acts that they hand pick to bring on, legendary types, that I think did not actually fool them. This is one of those, I believe. There is no way they don't know PURACAAN, and this is just just a variant of that. I think Penn's card choice was intentional to make it appear cleaner.
Between the editing job that cut out two of Boris's moves and then Boris getting incredibly lucky with the number pick, this looks like the perfect miracle. I bought The Marked Deck Project and Sensations after this episode originally aired just to learn how it was done. Kinda ruined Fool Us for me, now knowing that the performances can be heavily edited with - inadvertently or otherwise - major moves hidden from the TV viewing audience.
@@ilmalocchio I deliberately chose Jenkins instead of Jankis about 7-8 years ago, thinking it would be funny to get reactions from people who like to point out this common mistake. You are the first person that ever brought it up in this entire time.
@@thesammyjenkinsexperience4996 lol that's hilarious. Ive never seen this version of the name before, so that's a first for both of us. Glad I could contribute
If Boris just got lucky with the number, does that really count as fooling P&T? Thats not the method he had planned to use, the method he ended up using was just "luck"
Regarding the code words used by P&T. They eventually did away with them, at least they did with the clips I've seen. They just praised the act and then said '.... but you didn't fool us.'
The jokers are there, you can see one very briefly when the deck comes out of the box. The performance was heavily edited. They don't show him removing the cellophane or seal either, even though both are clearly there.
Hell yeah Piggy sorry that it got demonetized but this was a good video but this video would be nothing without your breakdown and commentary I think you should break down one of your own videos something like that would be good natured and fun too if you were breaking it down like insulting yourself but not acknowledging it just an idea Piggy
You newer magicians don't understand that 1 day not so long ago magicians were seen as gods and we're treated as such and now you guys are out here giving away methods destroying the Mysterious nature of what we do, I can say for a fact if you were to go out and start doing shows you would care about the method and who got a chance to see and learn about what you're doing because now I'm seeing 9-year-olds speak about methods in real-time as I'm performand please don't say you need to practice more I've won magician of the year for the last 5 years and I had a top 10 Magic show on the Las Vegas strip I've worked with all of the top Magicians on the strip including David copperfiand now people are talking about double lifts in real-time😢
Video is demonetized because RUclips sucks. Join the Magic Academy on Patreon here: bit.ly/piggyacademy
Damn, sorry to hear that. Really appreciate the video, though, awesome job! Thanks
Using Fool Us clips is the quickest way to get demonetized. Jason Parker pretty much stopped posting videos for this exact reason.
i feel like magic is more about utilizing the methods you know rather than learning 50k of them and not using 99% of them

Yo piggy, I'm loving the new content. And with a million magic clips you'll have content forever.
*The most important part of the video* 0:19
Oooooo nice. Loved this trick. Cooks never figure this one out. Although he says new deck order and we see no jokers
No, the jokers are there. If you go frame by frame you can see one right after he takes the deck out of the box. The performance was heavily edited.
Nice I was hoping you'd do this one!

Wasn't it "Sammy Jankis," not "Jenkins"?
Ah, totally agreed on the too many cuts part, tho

Didn't expect to see good magic on this channel

They're still using them.
A brand new deck that has no jokers and no ad cards.
Yo about to miss that
they cut the part of him removing them for the final video

Very nice! The mic tho
Como?

Great job, so he Fooled Them?

I actually enjoy pens code. One of my fav parts of the show :))
