Watching this show always makes me need a shower. As a Brit in Spain these people make me feel dirty. This is what people think we are like! Even other Brits who are in Italy or France act like we are scum, because all they ever see is these knuckle walkers. The upside is when a Spanish person says "Are you sure you are English? You are nothing like Them! You are one of Us!" And before some smart Alec tells me not to watch, I don't. it's a horrible fascination that lures me in now and again. And out twice as quickly. I look in the vague hope it has stopped being a Freak Show. It is usually worse.
I have never been and I am not a Brit but I look at it as a cultural/socio- anthropological study of a parallel sort of sub-species of human. It is also a pure escape from the state of the world.
@@kvk1960 How very Superior of you. You seem to have missed that this IS the state of the world. These people may not be the brightest, but they have good hearts. Compare that with a nation obsessed with violence and money, who have just given a psychopath control of the Red Button Not so superior now?
Take a chill this sort of life they live isn’t for me but live and let live they are not hurting anyone Brit whose lived in Spain for 20 years have a nice day
