Hi Dave your spot on about air pressure i fished that area with my dad 50 years ago i still do ,and he quoted to me the term before or after a storm which corresponds with high and lows air pressure fish especially bass go into a feeding frenzy, glad to see you ditched the sweat box waders and opt for shorts and runners makes you light on your feet as long as you keep your main parts insulated 😂you’d be flying across those rocks.
It's getting to that time of year where the waders are welcomed now 😂😂😂

I fish a 12g lure and rod its a better fight not lost one either and caught a smooth hound backwards with it fouled him lol
Have you ever tried fishing with a Baitcaster rod and reel set up Dave….?
Yes I have actually 🤣 found it difficult but it was only a few casts one session as a tried a friends.. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of using that setup in the future

this late into autumn you wont find them easily that far north, south coast near cork and had only blanks, but didnt fish that often, kind of gave up untill next season, but heard they still around@@wittywoo9559
