DIY Monitor Hood on a Budget!

I like the idea with double tape. I was doing hood like this by myself and was thinking how to make it not slipping backwards. I had an idea to connect the bottom of the box walls with the rope in front of the monitor. Was searching for monitor hoods to figure out how they fix this problem and fond this video. But I like this double tape thing more because rough box never scratch glossy sidewalls of my monitor as it doesn't touch it.

Easy peasy. Used velcro instead of doubled sided tape. Works like a charm.

What a great idea. I ended up buying some black plastic-type poster board from a crafts store. Used your idea video to make the measurements, cuts and attaching. Thank you for sharing.

if you have a little bit of money to spare, go get some black velvet fabric and paste it onto the cardboard. It's amazing.
