In the expanded comic universe the poor bastard fought Marvel Zombies, Freddy and Jason, took on the Re-Animator and all the OG horror icons all back to back, died and fell from heaven and the stories will just keep going all within his endless fictional lifetime for generations, and even in this cinematic universe he's still going in the future with androids and shit, it's hilariously tragic
the only thing missing from this scene is ash flipping the red switch, then Kandar opening his mouth and millions of voices from hell calling out "we'll swallow your soul" then Ash finishing it off with "Swallow This." then he pushes the red button 1:16
He retired from any more physical appearances as Ash (aside from perhaps a cameo or two I bet). Man is 63 years old, was prolly starting to get hard for him to do the action scenes.

@@animefan2454 Well he’s obviously still up for voicing the character, but he’s just too old now to do the physical stuff required for Ash. Maybe if he got in shape he’d do one more film, but it’s highly unlikely. A cameo appearance at most is what I’d imagine they’d do.
